@ShivaTheAuspicious That's what you think! A lot of electronic synth music started around that era! It just wasn't the exact same, because the whole world back then was different. In my opinion, this track is a great homage to The Beatles.

Also, check some stuff by Jean-Jacques Perrey, that'll give you an idea of electronic music in the 60's.
