@tcelectronic don't get me wrong, tc electronic has proven a long time ago they can make top notch products, but in this vid, the sound compared to his regular tone, is compressed, nasal, and artificial. Probably has more to do with the way it was recorded, but it's not really great advertising..

Check out the guys face (bottom right corner) at 1:22 - pretty much sums up my reaction to this kind of playing too! Don't get me wrong, GG is a lovely guy and I've sat in on a clinic he did at the college I was at a while back - he's a very impressive player but gimme heart felt, no nonsense playing any day of the week. Technicality just can't compete with the attitude that fuelled bands like the Stooges, MC5, The White Stripes, The Birthday Party etc etc...
