In other much more important news the West Memphis Three were released from prison on Friday after an 18 year long legal battle to over turn their falsely gained convictions (one was sent to death row) for three murders they were later cleared of through DNA evidence which points to the stepfather of one of the murdered boys.
Those convictions were gained from a coerced "confession" that was obtained from a man with mental disabilities and from faked evidence including a quack "expert".

Although I personally believed that Casey was guilty, the prosecutor did not have a good case. They needed more solid evidence to convict her, but I was surprised to hear she wasn't charged with manslaughter at the least.
The jury sounds to have kinda half assed it, and should have considered it maybe for carefully.

In other much more important news the West Memphis Three were released from prison on Friday after an 18 year long legal battle to over turn their falsely gained convictions (one was sent to death row) for three murders they were later cleared of through DNA evidence which points to the stepfather of one of the murdered boys.
Those convictions were gained from a coerced "confession" that was obtained from a man with mental disabilities and from faked evidence including a quack "expert".

It's people like you that are the reason why so many americans are told by travel companies to wear Canadian flag pins and not mention that they are american when they travel abroad.
Most of the world finds american tourists to be ignorant insufferable vacant eyed yokels who parade around acting as if they a superior to others just because they are american.
Americans ARE NO BETTER than anyone else they just fail to realize it which is why so much of the world hates you.

I woke up in the morning. When I went to sleep it was dry outside, but when I awoke there was snow covering the ground.
I did not SEE it snow, I saw no video on YouTube of it snowing, and it IS theoretically possible that dwarfs spread shave-ice all over while I slept. Furthermore, there HAVE been instances where people have made fun of the weather, and that's just not fair!
So I CANNOT conclude it snowed as I slept.

Whoa, I just finished fucking Casey again.

Canada will extradite any american criminal who flees through the border to escape justice we just have a moral issue against extraditing anyone to face the death penalty because we discontinued the practice ourselves in the 1960's.

Universal healthcare that doesn't discriminate and covers everyone.
A responsible government that answers to the will of the people not special interests the rich and corporations.
A stronger economy that isn't entirely based on war and voodoo economics.
A better education system.
We don't go gallivanting off to war for fun and profit.
We believe in being responsible actors in the world by being arbiters of peace (we invented the idea of peace keeping).

We abolished capital punishment in 1972 when we realized the system we used was too broken to be fixed and then resisted an attempt by social conservatives to reinstate it in 1986 simply by re-passing the old laws allowing for it.
We actually treat torture in time of war as a crime and call it by the correct name not "enhanced interrogation".
We take care of the elderly the sick and disabled not just those who can afford it.
We work to protect the environment rather than raping it.
