yeah, i've been in the music industry in one way or another since '81, and my philosophy is that if i wanted to hear those lames sing, I would have caught them outside and had them belt out their version there and then, while I could still walk away shaking my head. While the man is up there performing his masterpiece, well, what's say we just shut the fuck up, enjoy what we came for and quit trying to make it some kinda "kum by yah" communal group thing. That's all I got.

Blizzard....go to a piano recital. You will be pleasantly surprised! I like to hear the music of the bank playing, also but if you are there then you love their music and when everyone who loves music gets together and sings... I think it's wonderful. People who don't get this are missing out on something very special and I almost feel sorry for you. I really like this song, too !! :-)

Everyone sang when he sang the first word of the song! He had NO CHOICE at 3:42 (actually, way before that) because of the high amount of disrespect he was getting. It's called crowd control. I didn't say "stand there like a stiff"...you can move around. However, by singing on the top of your lungs without being prompted is disrepectful. I don't know about you, but I pay to be entertained by the band, not to listen to a loud obnoxious intoxicated crowd. I'm sorry if that sounds far-fetched.

I was there and the band sounded great and the crowd was electric. The music was louder when there so you could still hear Bret sing even with the crowd singing along. One of the best shows I ever been to.
