This is the way I saw this video back in 1990 on MTV. Enough with 'is it live.' The foootage is live. Is the audio? Probably not. Who cares. Lots of videos were done in this fashion back then.

The audio's not live, they just chose to release the video with a live overdub for some reason. I have no idea why, it's extremely annoying. They have it on the videos for Stranger In A Strange Land, The Evil That Men Do, The Clairvoyant, Lord Of The Flies, Futureal and The Angel And The Gambler.

Okay, I took a listen to the studio version again and realised that you're right, it's slightly different. But it sounds extremely similar to the original version, and works perfectly with the original audio too. I have a video uploaded with it synced to the studio version, and it works just fine.
