  • PAKISTAN HAS worlds three largest mountain ranges HINDUKUSH,HIMALAYAS,KORAKORAM and 5 of the 14 worlds higests peaks wats crazy is that all these ranges join in PAKISTAN ALSO,SHANGRILLA is also in PAKISTAN

  • @raaak1990 how is tht crazy?

  • @TheBomb2002 All these mountain ranges have a joining point in pakistan where all these beauties hug eachother if know what i mean

  • the hardest mountain in the world is Annapurna, with a 2-to-1 death ratio.

  • @M4Charity What does that mean? 2-to-1?

  • It means for every 2 climbers who summit 1 dies.

  • @M4Charity I see. Thanks :)

  • your welcome glad I could help

  • @M4Charity well 260 people have summited and 57 have died.....ok?

  • Comment removed

  • because snowpack doesn't count when they measure the height.

  • I donot know why they call it second highest peak as it was measured in winter time to surpass Everest!!!

  • that was thrown out the window.

  • that is a load of crap you are telling here....k2 is the second highest but the most difficult mountain on earth

  • most dangerous in world is nanga parbat

  • well depends on how you look at it.....naga parbat is unpredictable (weather conditions)

k2 the routes are very difficult...but i agree i myself dont know...both look dangerous for me

  • This guy cannot blame anyone other then himself. K2 is the second most dangerous mountain in the world, next to Annapurna. statistically 1 out of 4 climbers die on K2. He's lucky to be alive. Mostly rescue missions are not sent cause it almost guarantees certain death if things go wrong.

You can find frozen human body parts, remaining at the base of the mountain taken down by the wind. The last distance to climb at K2 is known as the Death Zone, if you stay there you die, no exceptions... :P

  • 1:12 ... omg!

  • Yeah pakistan is a very very beautiful country K2 naanga Barbat then Rakaposhi malka barbat such a beautiful mountains and lot of lakes and valleys...i m love in it

  • biwolfi:in kendo training there is a point at which pain becomes inbearable - then it disappears people call this satori

you must climb in satori or not climb on such mountain

you will feel I will have mercy on my pain and not hurry - but this feeling will kill you in the mountain sif you have bad luck and follow it

if you go climb go like a samurai going to the combat filed fight to the last and expect death as a possibility

if you want to stroll , use only save areas

  • I posted another but did not see it here.

    NOMASTE.SAYONARA.GOOD BYE.

Now I say hi to the 50 % of the people I lived with for 4 weeks in Namche that are still alive.Hope you will have more mind than a tiger.

Understand when we trained I wanted to show you . Hiking or climbing is like two samurai any mistake is deathAnd you must run where other hike look at Messner.Run like a hunting tiger.I always take amphetamin from my doctor that doubles your power.

Did they leave charming wifes behind ?

  • b.u.d.s. I had outclimbed 500 people and trained with them on the rcok but did not get up the mountain. Please remember:pian goes at satori but if you climb slow with mercy on yourself then the mountain will not know such mercy.

  • So wait are u saying to not clib slowly? and to not have mercy on yoirself? because that would be a stupid thing to do!

  • this was no bud fun I fear - I feel I mean -

I assume ... I was with Korean Japanese team in 1998 or so at Everest in 98 or so but was later not allowed to join the climb but had trained with the Koreans and Japanese students of chemistry of Tokio University.I am so happy only 3 are dead.

I was outhiking anyone onteh way to namche over500 people I passed and thnk JA/KO was strongest team at that point at Everest ( winter ).

  • did you see nashoq mountain?

  • Can someone explain me what's the reason because it's more dangerous to climb the K2 as other 8000m mountains? Why for example it's not as dangerous to climb the Mount Everest than the K2. What makes it so difficult???

  • K2 is an elevation [2nd highest]. Everest is a "range" with around 10 peaks. K2 being a peak has quite a vertical ascend with no alternative routes. Everest has three passages, two of which are more lenient to man. K2 is simply a savage peak, part of an isolated glacier & weather is far fierce. Most climbing teams wait-out for days/hours often, and climb on bottled oxygen. Naturally, K2 has more fatalities than Everest. K2's peak weather patterns are violent & meet climbers without warnings.

  • Thank you very much for respond. I summarize: K2 is more steeply than Everest, there is only one peak and one route and the weather is more incalculable as in other districts of 8000m+ mountains. I hope i understand it right.

  • Comment removed

  • Its far steeper than Everest. The original route of Everest is not tecnical at all, K2 is very difficult. The south west face of Everest is another story. The climb from the Tibeten side also hard.

  • This is almost history repeating: in 1986 7 climbers on K2 were trapped at 8000m Camp IV by a storm lasting 4 days. 2 miraculously survived. That season on K2 had already claimed the lives of 8 climbers. Nearly 30% of those who reached the summit have died on descent. It is truly "The Savage Mountain."

  • dam this is really dangerous work, must be carefull with it

  • K2 doesn't fall into the top 3 most dangerous/hardest mountains to ascent. Although both K2 and Everest are in the top 10, I believe K2 is approx. 4th and Everest being about 7th.

  • As well as being +8000m K2 is at a more northern latitude which makes the weather regular hell. It is one infamously deadly mountain. For other +8k's, Annapurna sadly often fatal because of seracs/avalanches and risky traverse nr summit. Nanga Parbat also 1 v.v. tough climb.

  • : )

  • What's to : ) about here ?

  • dont think thats correct, For every 3 climbers who reach the summit, one dies, think its the seccond most dangerous mountain after Nanga Parbat.

  • Annapurna and Nanga Parbat I think are the two most dangerous. K2 comes after them I think.

Annapurna has a 40% death rate.

  • exactly.....

  • Nope. U got me interested in ur post so i looked it up. heres the reason K2 isbefore both of the mountains u have discribed. first off K2 is 2nd highest in the world and Nanga Is 9th and is secound hardest after K2 plus as had 263 ascents were haw K2 has had i believe 249. and Annapurna is 10th highest. Y yes is true iit has a greater death rate. this is because the mountaini is more dangerous. BUT there is a diference between danger and difficultly.

  • It is the hardest to climb. There are holes very deep and there are avalanches reguarly.

  • K2 is much harder to climb. only 189 people have climbed it 49 of them died. There isn't even an established climbing route yet. Everest has at least 3 established climbing routes.

  • thats the 2nd highest in the world right?

  • What people have to do with how others spend their money? I just dont care if people spend THEIR money climbing mountains, i just care if our governments spend OUR money in their expensive cars, houses and so on. Climbers have the right to do what they want with their money i just dont give a damn. By the way climbing gave job to lots of nepal people. I just care about our governments, who risk OUR lives and OUR jobs. That IS the real problem.

  • I agree. Well said.

  • krazey!! word I had a close call on "BONANZA PEAK" check out the vid... adios

  • correction : should have been*

  • ur feelings aside, i totally respect ur feelings, but it ll be wrong to repeat after wht crimes they commit!!!

  • I heard once that the amount of question marks following the once nessesary for a question is inversely related to critical thinking.

  • Excuse me leotakesleo, but WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???? Smoked too much crack?

  • the mountain was discovered a long time ago. it's not necessarily about having balls. it's essentially a selfish act and pretty much all about oneself. climbers say it's about personal goals/achievements but as beck weathers said, no one gives a rat's rear... it's been done already.

  • Thank you Pakistan Army. You saved my great great granddad's honorable title.

  • Thank you for your kind words, you are most welcome.

  • Vai Marco non mollare! Sapevo che ce l'avresti fatta...ho sempre creduto in te.

  • Why do people have to risk so much?

  • they climb K2 because its there to..these people have balls..half world would not have been discovered without people like these.

  • true and I guess we ought to be grateful to these adventurers but I still think life is the most precious gift we have and yet such men probably think that life without risk isn't worth living at all...anyway, well done!!

  • BRAVE AND GREAT PAK ARMY PILOTS.
