Just to help stop any confusion there are only a few differences from a standard 850 to a T5 and then a small few changes to an R or a T5R. However its these differences that make a major difference in driving the car. In fact my Turbo (first T5), my R and my V70 2.5D are all very similar underneath. Just for the record auto is no no on T5s

In fact come to mention it our 03 M5 is just as quick.

The F40,F50,288 Gto were all manual,even the F1 gearbox despite not having a clutch is still a manual with an actuated clutch.
Lamborghini do not make an Auto box in the Diablo,Murciélago or Gallardo they are clutchles manaul boxes
Yes you can buy a Porsche with an auto but he proper top end models are manual or clutchless manuals - ie no torque converter.

All the fastest cars in the world are MANUAL. Have you really ever been to a dragstrip? Those drag cars all have manual boxes. Even the most expensive cars have the manual/auto transmission combination. The only car you've mentioned that had real potential on the track was the Syclone. Everything was straight nonsense. You should really take a cue & sit down because it IS really apparent that you know a LOT of nothing.

Just to put an end to your arguement with twiztedturbo I will have to agree with you that manual is always better than auto. I drive a 280bhp 850 auto and in fairness it's probably faster than a manual in up to 60 due to the torque converter but there are massive draw backs to it that out weigh this advantage.
The only people who will say that an auto is better or even as good as manual are those that can't use a manual to it's full potential. conti>>>
