  • omg these are so cute!!! ur so lucky!! haha!!! i want 2 rats so bad!!

  • my dog would eat them, she would be hunched over my arm if that were me.

  • I love how your dog gets to close to sniffing them without fear.. My boyfriend's dog did the same to one of my girls, and she bite him on the nose. He's a big dog, but was easily frightened off by my small girl! We haven't got any worry any more about him coming in to eat them, cause he sees the cage, and walk the other way. He won't even stand to be in the same room as the rat cage :P

  • the one that ran away looks like one of my rats bubles

  • are pet hairless dumdo rat had 10 babies 3 died:'(

  • HAHAHA!

You do the cages just like me and my mom..

    xD Genius.

  • Thanks for the rescue work you do. We have a litter of sixteen rats that came from an eight week old female who was not separated from her siblings at five weeks. (that's irresponsible!!) Happy to say Ticky's babies are now 2 weeks old, and doing well. I'll be keeping the entire litter.

My dog interacts with my rats on a supervised only basis.

  • LoL That dog is thinking...Jeez, those are the funkiest looking puppies I have ever seen!

  • I love how you let your dog near them so they'll be able to get along. Great idea!

  • No it is not a good idea. You should never trust you animal near rats. I discovered by pur accident that I could trust my dog. I would never ever trust any other dog this way.

  • Normally, many people raise their animals like this. We did this to our dog & rabbit. They get along fine now because we raised the rabbit w/ the dog. It doesnt work in ALL cases & you have to be weary the whole time.

  • @OldsGal Thats a load of crap. I have heard of plenty of dogs and cats who are just fine with them. In fact both of my dogs are perfectly fine with my rats. its all about how you train your dogs with them.

  • @Lyhraify Dude stop being so mean! and its not about how you train your dog..when your dogs really want to do something they will do it..the dog could even accidentaly step on a little baby so just keep things to yourself!

  • @MultiSkittleMonster A dog that is not trained is going to go after the rat. I have been doing this for years and while you never ever leave them together unsuperviesed alot of dogs and cats are fine with the right training. I'm not saying accidents can't happen, but thats why you never have them together unsupervised. and you don't know my dogs. I have the proper dog human relationship where my dog looks to me for instruction before doing things. that comes from training for 5 years

  • PLEASE tell me how old these ratties are!

  • In this video they were about 2 1/2 weeks old to 3 weeks old. Today these rats are Two Years Old.

  • god woman u r irresponsible keep track of ur owm damg rats!

  • You should probably think before you speak and maybe do your research. I run Capital City Rat Rescue and saved this poor momma rat form someone who bred her irresponsibly. I am far from the irresponsbile one here.

  • my rat used to be called Molly!

  • Wow, thats a good sized litter. I think I counted about 16. I found the video from your capital city rat rescue page. By now they might be almost half way through thier lives.

  • cute :)>

  • I love it how your dog is so sweet with them it's so cute.
