Olbermann is a shameless hack. He and MSNBC were incessant and virulent in criticizing FISA and republican support of it. Then when Obama flip flopped, broke his promise (again) and voted for it, MSNBC and Olbermann praised Obama for doing the right thing. That is purely partisan politics and MSNBC isn't shy about it.
That's actually not true. Olbermann had a comment against Obama on the FISA issues. Olbermann is in response to Fixed Noise. If you want to blame someone, blame Murdoch for changing the media and the viewers of Fixed Noise for watching it. Watch "Outfoxed -- Ruppert Murdoch's War on Journalism."

I did not see him say that, thus I don't know the context. If he meant politically, then unfortunantly he is right. When the rich get more money, they invest it in stocks, company mergers, buy smaller companies, anything to increase their profits. Maybe 2-3 firms out of 100 might raise their paychecks a dollar or two, but it won't do crap as a whole for the millions of people trying to make a living on minimum wage.

I met McCain at my highschool back in 1988 in Arizona. I showed up, because as a highschool junior I wanted to confront him about recent educational spending cuts he supported.
Ironically, his speech was about his support for education and spending increases, the opposite of his actions.
I approached him after the speech with questions. A reporter was there and took a picture of me talking to him. I appeared standing next to McCain on the front page: McCain connecting with the youth.

But what you fail to see is Obama wants to spend 1 trillion dollars and yet he wants to lower taxes for people who make under 250 thousand and raise the taxes of those above. It is impossible to spend that much without raising everyones taxes. Obama also doesnt even recognize the middle class. Is it right for someone who works 15 hour days and makes over 300 thousand to have his taxes raised? I think not. Competition and the improvement of public areas is the only way to create jobs.

According to the IRS, that person is among the 2% (including couples) of Americans. You call that middle class? Moreover, the possible tax increase will affect a lot less than it will someone who makes 45 or 50K. And please, read his tax proposal, he said he will NOT increase taxes on the middle class and will give them some tax relief (if you have kids, if u're trying to buy a house...). FAIR COMPETITION is what allows an econ to grow, NOT SAVAGE COMPETITION.

Money is already getting redistributed, that's how we get Gov't, the question is how much should be redistributed. As to "Competition is competition there is no fair nor savage", you need to check out some econ litt. Maybe some Smith, Polanyi (the Great Transformation) might be a good start). Even republican advisors agree that there has to be FAIR competition, otherwise there is no way that the market can function. I already wrote before that 2% (according to IRS) makes 250K or more.

When the rich get more money, they invest it in stocks, company mergers, buy smaller companies, anything to increase their profits. Maybe 2-3 firms out of 100 might raise their paychecks a dollar or two, but it won't do crap as a whole for the millions of people trying to make a living on minimum wage.

He probably realizes that Obama wants to take a 21 century stance on diplomacy, you know, no preemptive war and sacrifice 4,000 soldiers due to bad intel.
McCain has bad foreign policy. He wants to give everyone the cold shoulder unless they get on all fours and lick his boots. Obama wants diplomacy.
Diplomacy or 4,000 American soldiers lives every time the CIA has bad intel? So difficult to choose!
