  • nice view up there.. but hurricane looks scary in near hd view.... xD

  • I guess when you're in space, you can say a country's name with it's proper accent.

  • its the satelites ther upside down that big white spot on the bottom is the hurricane ... and its around the new york area so might be a few fatalities there well here cause i live in ny as if bronx werent bad enough

  • @xDeadlyzz

So this was shot from under the planet? or just the way the feed sent it? It is amazing either way. I went to the flicker of one of the astronauts live from space twitter accounts and the pictures of hurricanes and all are absolutely mind boggling. :)

  • @MStowastiqPackapic LMAO what do you mean "under" the planet?

  • @Evaxlacrymosa i think what he means is the shot is from the south of earth, lolz but this hurricane is in the northern atmoshere

  • Err, umm. I don't get it

why is it in the southern hemisphere?

  • Signs of judjement day as shown in the slide video

  • Earl Kick Ass

  • @LoboOscuro88 naw people don't pay attention to Earl unless his a bad-ass cat. 5 hurricane! Its just an cat 2. but who knows it just might pick up to an cat 5, but still people don't care until it actually hits...oh well let's just see what happens.

  • Hey NASA! You're a science organisation. Please use metric (if you need to, you can give imperial measurements for the US public alongside....)

  • @Ibis333 Hey ibis, It's National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NATIONAL, and that NATION is the U.S.A.

  • @Action2Viewer Yeah. No kidding. The A and the S represent sciences and SI is the standard in the sciences the world over including the US. As I said, if they feel they need to address the needs of the US public, they can always go the "bilingual" route.

  • @Ibis333 I hear your point. International measurement and stuff, lol. My point is if someone wants to watch an American broadcast about space they are probably smart enough to do the math.

  • @Ibis333 as someone said before NASA is owned and operated by the USA. you can get metric conversion charts online.

  • @Ibis333 Or you know learn how to convert units. 3.1 miles = 5k do the math.

  • Why don't they stick their fingers out and break up the clouds? :-)

  • Need to turn the computer monitor upside down.

  • It sure is Awesome of NASA to put these videos online for all humans to view. We all hope everyone in Puerto Rico is okay, and hanging in there, what a huge storm indeed.

  • @LanceWinslow5 Thanks nothing happend, the storm rise up 80 miles off Puerto Rico, only rains and winds like 25 mph....

  • That hurricane is just thinking to itself as it rolls towards us "My Name Is Earl!"

  • @DigitalReptile LOOOOL!!!!

  • very impressive view of the storm

  • NASA and ISS - You Rock!

  • waw

  • Where is the storm? I can't see it...

  • @d1995a3 South of florida, Right around Puerto Rico.

  • @d1995a3 Heading For: The US Eastern Seaboard.

  • @d1995a3 its that giant white circle, what did you think it was

  • @d1995a3 the big cloud, the one that looks like a whirlpool

  • Amazing!
