its the satelites ther upside down that big white spot on the bottom is the hurricane ... and its around the new york area so might be a few fatalities there well here cause i live in ny as if bronx werent bad enough
So this was shot from under the planet? or just the way the feed sent it? It is amazing either way. I went to the flicker of one of the astronauts live from space twitter accounts and the pictures of hurricanes and all are absolutely mind boggling. :)
@LoboOscuro88 naw people don't pay attention to Earl unless his a bad-ass cat. 5 hurricane! Its just an cat 2. but who knows it just might pick up to an cat 5, but still people don't care until it actually hits...oh well let's just see what happens.
@Action2Viewer Yeah. No kidding. The A and the S represent sciences and SI is the standard in the sciences the world over including the US. As I said, if they feel they need to address the needs of the US public, they can always go the "bilingual" route.
@Ibis333 I hear your point. International measurement and stuff, lol. My point is if someone wants to watch an American broadcast about space they are probably smart enough to do the math.
It sure is Awesome of NASA to put these videos online for all humans to view. We all hope everyone in Puerto Rico is okay, and hanging in there, what a huge storm indeed.
nice view up there.. but hurricane looks scary in near hd view.... xD

I guess when you're in space, you can say a country's name with it's proper accent.

Hey NASA! You're a science organisation. Please use metric (if you need to, you can give imperial measurements for the US public alongside....)
