I have seen this new version of 3 Kingdoms on DVD. The verbals use common Chinese which are easier to understand.  The war scenes are spectacular, helped by new filming technologies. New version does not seem to portray Cao Cao as villain contrary to Chinese history. His intelligence, political acumen, military genius are highlighted. Cao Cao character is marvelously played by famous Chinese actor. Overall, a MUST SEE!
