Wow. Your AMAZING.I love this song plus I am learning this song that's why Iam listening to your vidio so I can get good.It's a very nice song.Thanks again! :}
no don't quit! I often find if you listen to the original a bit it really helps! The orchestral verison is lovely and will give you a real feel for the piece :)
No criticism here...God bless you for posting this song and video...there is just something about this song that brings me to tears...not sure why. Check out a faster WWII version by various big bands...also ...about a year ago I heard a beautiful 'symphonic version' of it on the radio (forget by whom)...researched it...but found that the version I heard appears to be out of print. Nobody composes like this these days...Tunesmith
Out of curiosity, did you play this in 3/4 or 4/4 time. I have a sumative for music on flute for this piece and for some reason the two pieces of music don't seem to hold the long notes in the first part the same length. It is in the same key though!
yeah you kind of shift to a weird rhythm at around 28 seconds. Try using a metronome -I find it useful when trying to get the rhythm down. Keep up the practice.
Random -Also, sometimes you can play a song in a different rhythm. I loved a "take me out to the ball game" that was written in 3/4 instead of the traditional 4/4 and it was sort of jazzy I guess.
Be careful with the sixteenth notes. And don't hold them down too long. Maybe a little bit of work on the dynamics as well. Other than that, I think you did a pretty good job! ^^

How interesting. My original version of Song of India for the piano has the treble played in octaves

Yeah! The one I'm playing has three voices instead of two. This one is still really good.
