There is something about this old Lightwave. I love its interface and colors. And I am surprised how good results it provided. Even though I was 12 years ago 3dsmax and Softimage 3D guy I always respected Lightwave because of its beautiful interface and nice renderings. And one major thing I loved about Lightwave 5.6 was that I got lots of high quality scenes with it to fool around with. 3dsmax had very simple and childish scenes (cubes and spheres mostly) but Lightwawe had robots and spaceships
