@CityofButterfly Yeah the singer has a nice voice. And melodies are often well found.... especially in "entre les mots" on their last ep. Screamo is so different from other genres... it is so passionate and yet the music is still well constructed. I call it "music from the soul" haha... maybe it's too much :)
@CityofButterfly this is more of instrumental dub... go check the other songs from amanda woodward, they often mix several genres togethers (especially in "la malade maquerelle" or "la perte") but "l'air du temps" is, yes, so, fucking, awesome.
@siriusql Ooh, I'll have to do that. This isn't the only AW song I've heard, but as I don't speak French I don't know the songs by their titles. If it means pleasant surprises like this one, I'll have to check them out again. :)
@CityofButterfly haha check it bro... if you want some more great french band here's " mihai edrisch (my prefered one) sed non satiata, belle epoque, my own private alaska, or "Le Pré Où Je Suis Mort")
French screamo is the only thing to be proud of in france.... if you want some translation just ask.
@siriusql Thanks for the recommendations. Sed Non Satiata I already know and like. I like how they can do the sing/scream thing without it feeling like a calculated gimmick (you know, the way the scenester bands do it).

Typed up this name not knowing this was a singer. Was expecting to see Heather Locklear's character on Melrose Place.

This may be the only screamo song I've ever heard to have a reggae influence.
