When the "Bridge out" sign came up and they said "Uh oh, the bridge is out!" I was thinking two things, 1: Please, let this just go around a corner! and 2: HOLY SHIT!!!, then when the first drop was over, I thought "Are ya that busy?" it was fun though...

I get to go to Dollywood on Saturday the 14th for my birthday! the last time I was there was the year 2oo1 so its been a really long time! This is one of my favorite rides at Dollywood! I love it! :)

I rode this ride back around 1980 when Dollywood was Silver Dollar City before Dolly Parton obtained it. The ride seemed better back then. From what I could see of this video the ride has been changed to cheeseyness. It was originally like a scary movie of a town burning out west and people helpelssly watching it burn, trying to put out the flames and screaming for help.

It is an indoor rollercoaster, goes through showing scenes of fires, a town, etc. It has 3 "drop offs", atleast it did the last time I rode it :-)

no, that's not true. The Baldknobbers didn't set fire to a town in Tennessee. they did it in Missouri. so that means Fire in the Hole was first.

Im not quite sure I think we're leaving Tuesday and coming back Friday night. I'm pretty sure. The last time we went we got there really early on a Sunday and got to ride MM 5 times before the lines got long. And we could ride TT all day w/o the lines getting long!
