smooth face , after you ruff the peace in by carving, you can sand it, then use
gloves, spray more foam and smooth it out with your hands, as it dries the foam will skin over ,now you can push the bubbles or bumps out and it will it will dry
smooth , try this on the first coat you may not have to carve as much
fiberglass rods 5/16" or tent poles that connect together, ,
make the frame out of corrugated plastic, use hot glue to keep it in place, hot glue the rods in the frame , leave some of the rod to go past the ends of the wing
so if you want to bend the wings you can grab the rod ends , then cover with foam.
Making a dragon this year, do you use pvc to reinforce the wings or something, and the goul towards the end of your 12/2010 video how do you get the smooth appearence on the face? Every thing I carve looks rough never smooth.Do you have a trick? By the way I love, love, love your stuff. Cozzy
