Suprisingly cheery song from Pete, ha ha. Yeah really catchy. I've been a fan of The Who for a while but only recently started checking out Roger's solo offerings and I'll need to do the same with Pete's. Cheers for posting.
I'm arguing with somebody. Please help me out. I know Mark Brzezicki, later of Big Country (as is Tony Butler on bass), plays on this album... but is it he in this video? Looks like him; but then again, it doesn't. And is it "Rabbit" on keys as well? Thanks.
@facesmall: I know your argument is probably over but this is Simon Phillips in the video. Actually, Mark Brzizecki doesn't play on this album. He played drums on Pete's next album All The Best Cowboys. Simon and Kenney Jones were the drummers on this album.

@creationsteppa2008 Here's some quotes from the Internet: Townshend was arrested in 2003 in Britain as part of a child pornography sting but later cleared. He accessed a Web site containing child pornography but said it was for research for his own campaign against child porn.
Townshend said he has been a children's advocate for decades and alluded to his own confession of being abused as a child.
Your Sh$tting me right? Have you not heard of Neil Peart, Bill Bruford, Kenny Jones, Jeff Porcaro, Steve Smith, Kenny Arnoff, Terry Bozzio, Steve Gadd, Steve Ferrone, Mick Fleetwood, Jason Bonham, Mark Brzezicki, Roger Taylor, Nicko Mcbrain, Hell, I could go on and on. You might want to read up on people that have real talent and not just follow in daddies footsteps. Ohh yeah, miss changes, and screw up fills, and make stupid faces during the Superbowl.
Yes I have heard of them. And in their prime they were better. Now they are all in their 60's and are nowhere what they wre in their 40's. If you would look at my comment again, I said he's arguably the best one around today, as in that can still perform in their prime. He didn't follow in his dad's footsteps, he followed in Moon's. Moon taught him the drums, not that sad excuse Ringo. There is more to Zak than the Super Bowl performance, perhaps you should do a bit of research.

@SlimeTron5000 To belittle this album because its songs were misused a decade and a half after its writing is inappropriate.

Empty Glass was the album that bridged the era of the 70s to the '80s.

In terms of the culture of Rock music, this album was the most important of its time.

I was sad to hear it ending at 2:42. It should be twice that. It even sounds like it's starting to pick up and carry on to a different mood or expression.
Still good, I'll just have to hit repeat.
