  • I'm so happy for her

  • It´s not that easy, it works for a little while, then it stops working. THe only thing that may work is a medicine or going to a medium or something so that God can remove it, I´ve seen on tv were a man that was blind in one eye could see again after going to a priest. I´m 27 and I find it incredibly difficult, people who are 20 have laughed at me, then apoplogized only to laugh again. I went to a school a year ago and hardly opened my mouth for that year, never held a public speech,it was awful

  • @poshnile quack magical healers can't help you, and these creatures that live off of unlucky people like you are much much worse that the simpletons that giggle at your stuttering.

  • @snakeinthereeds Its not quack, you believ what you beleive and I beleive what I believe. I saw it on tv and it worked for someone who didnt believe in it and Ive experoienced things myself so I know what works and what doesnent.

  • An angel......

  • I will do anything to try that, im 27 ive been stuttering all my life, its so hard to make it through life, people make fun of you, no confidence, low self esteem. if i had to talk in class i would walk out, i dropped out of college because of my stuttering, sometime i just cry. i just wish i can not stutter for on day, thats all i ever wished for.

  • Wow. So cool how A little device can fix that!

  • God bless her and her family... She's beautiful.. I loike...gd luck girl..

  • This is truly amazing. I think that this is so wonderful that they are able to fix her lifelong problem. If only other problems could be solved as easy as this.

  • Interesting, so it creates a kind of feedback loop.

  • Aweeee I am happy for her

  • I tried this device:

It improved my speaking by a tiny bit, but some people might do better than me.

  • I wish i had one of those.

It would make school a lot easy for me.

But good for her thou, she deserves it :).

  • A M A Z I N G ! I almost shedded tears at this.

  • That is awesome.

  • honestly, this made me cry especially when she tried on the device and had a that gorgeous smile on her face

  • I'm a stutterer as well, and even though she hasn't gotten rid of the stuttering technically, I'm so happy for her. :)

  • @steiniza It actually says the name in the video if you listen - it's called the SpeechEasy Device

  • I'm trying to do a similar device using a mobile phone, but where can I find a small enough microphone?

  • Rebecca is an amazing person, hands down. It can be noted that the device is not a cure. It is has variable effects with a variety of severities of people who stutter, and should be seen as a therapy tool, not a cure. Most people who stutter have this initial behavior of increased fluent speech with this device. What the video does not show is Rebecca months from now.

Again, Rebecca appears to be an amazing person, which is more important than the device itself.

  • This is amazing <3

  • the king george VI stuttered very bad, wayyyyyyy worse the here. he didnt repeat, he was just silent, trying to get the word out

  • A tear came to my eye when she started to read fluently

  • the love of my life and my fiancé stutters, it doesnt bother me at all but it kills him. thanks for letting me understand more

  • @NerdaLiciousKiss Start with the internet--utilize the technology around us. That is the beautiful thing about technology, that you don't have to be able to say every word you write out. And If people are going to make fun of you, then they really are not worth your time, and also they are jerks. Don't give up. You are loved.

  • I must get my hands on this device and give it a try. Who knows it may work for some.

  • I've been living with stuttering since I was 7,shortly after my sister died. Since then I consider life a horrible thing, because I can't even do simple things in life. Such as introduce myself, order food, call doctor, explain whats wrong, not to mention how horrible it was in school,it litterly lead me to drop out. I have a feeling there is no way of me having bright future and using my talents, because there's always stuttering stopping me. Anyone have advices? Thanks...

  • @NerdaLiciousKiss I do not stutter but the one I love does, he is intelligent and bright, he didnt let it stop him from anything, here's my advice: go out more, take all the chances you have to speak, pick up the phone... it helps. ive seen him improve by my own eyes when he decided to be bolder and try to talk to new ppl. however if anyone makes you uncomfortable about yourself never mind them or care what they think. ur gr8, bold and loved

  • This news show is an advertisment for "speecheasy". The problem is that it is not even close to a cure, yet after watching this show, some of the general public think stuttering can be cured

  • This device does not work for everyone and for those it does work it will only work in an absolute quiet enviroment (no background noise). No restraurant, buses, parties or anything else.

  • OMG i need this!!!!

  • she is beautiful

  • It's hard for me to watch this because it's like I am watching a female mirror image of myself.....

  • wtf is this a god damn miracle?! although im sure the results wont be as miraculous for most people as it was for this girl, it should be given to every single person who stammers free of charge!

  • WTF y havent i heard about this

  • I used to stutter very bad until I got a speech easy device. Within 3 years of using the device I stopped stuttering and hold a Manager's position with a Consultant firm. My life has changed so much. I dont have to where my speech easy anymore because of the device. I have my device for sale on Ebay. I want it to help someone who has lived the same nightmare that I used to. Ebay Item#260752780778

Im selling it for 1/2 of what I paid for it. Get your life back now.

  • تستاهل ريبكا بنت حلال وحاس فيها بس يقولون السماعات ماتفيد مره

  • i need this device!!!!!!!!! THIS WOULD MAKE MY LIFE A WHOLE LOT EASIER.... (i dont live in the USA so its kind of a problem :( )

  • @ps2gamer1000 same problem :/

  • How does that speak easy work? Is it a form of reassurance for the speaker?

  • I would do anything just to try that out, Stuttering just makes My life hell in school, You just never know as soon as the Teacher askes u to read your heart drops. To me i Only have 1 friend who helps me thru this and its My Brother . He doesnt care if i Stutter or not he just wants to hear what i got to say. I would often Fake Sicknesses in class just not to read, I would get Zero's on Oral Exams In class Cause i Refuse to read, I just hope 1 Day i Can Just be . . . "Normal"

  • @DhatxGurlxGigglez that's what brothers are for

  • @DhatxGurlxGigglez I sympathize with you.I have a same problem.I trying to get over it,to be 'normal',I did ,but that shit comes back. It's really hard,my social life is disaster. :/

  • Very touching story with a happy ending but 2 bad it didnt work out that way for me. I tried the Speech Easy and it didnt do anything to help me. :(

  • I USE TO STUTTER HORRIBLE IN ELEMENTARY THERAPY HELPED A LITTLE I STILL DO A LITTLE

  • i hate thtt seacheasy thing dont buy it a waste of money and time

  • @alirocks19 Where did u buy it?My twin suffers from stuttering since we were kids I know he would want to give it a try

  • @alirocks19

Can you tell me why you think it's a waste? I'm curious because I'm in school right now to be an SLP and I have come across a lot of articles that have conflicting results. I know that it isn't suggested for PWS whose primary issue is blocking. I'd love to hear more from people that have actually used the device and not the researchers. Thanks.

  • wow i stutter and its not that bad but honestly.....i just teared up

  • I STUTTER NOW

  • where i wanna c what is she doing now?

  • this mite help me but idc about stuttering, i want my ocd to clear up

  • my tear fell on the keyboard :'(

  • That was amazing! I'm so happy for her!

  • I stutter, and i know how she feels, its hard when people laugh at you, it makes you wanna cry.

  • Good Video, See the New & Affordable "anti- stutter tool" (click on my name)"

  • when i heard the music in the background and saw her mom smiling when she read, i smiled. :]

  • As a kid, you'd make fun of her. Kids are cruel.

  • i am glad she got help! :)

  • I stutter aswell, I live in Sweden, where can you buy that earpiece??

  • Wow! I didn't realize speak easy worked so well...I wonder how much they cost! Being scared to talk is not a fun fear to live with!

  • My God shes beautiful <3

Stutter or not i would ask her n a date in a second :D

  • @eratemp

God gave her a beautifull soul....

  • @eratemp I just said that to my imaginary friend... damn cute ^^

  • @eratemp darn it

ill or not. beautiful people always get their way .

and we ugly people get shut in the dark with mental problems then end up becoming killers.

  • @eratemp She has a real problem and all you can think is to fuck her. Do not give me that date bullshit.

  • omg i smiled when she read

  • @lcr1234 try saying the word you want to say without sound(mime the word) and then instantly say it after. thats what i did :P

  • It hard for me to express myself around people because i sometimes have issues talking for an extended period of time.

  • Where can you buy this ear piece? My stuttering is killing me =[

  • @Londonlondon1233

My stuttering will kill me---literaly--my blood pressure is extremely high because of it and if the blood pressure gets any high because of stuttering- it will kill me.

  • I find that the only time I don't stutter is when I talk about stuttering. Maybe its the fact that the truth is out there that I accept it. Regardless if talking about stuttering causes me not to stutter then I'll continue my goal of becoming a speech therapist

  • @lcr1234 i feel the same way :(

  • well that's called technology.

  • Holy shit this makes me cry

  • Holy crap... Such a simple solution to such a crippling condition. Good for her

  • Man I gottta get one of these , I think I speak for everyone that has this condition that while we appreciate everyone who accepts for us our flaws ... if we had the chance to speak fluently , there wouldn't be a moment of hesitation

  • @gabesmuzick Only if we could speak the same way we could type. ;(

  • I used to complain to God as to why i was a stutterer. Lol! The thing about being a stutterer is that you feel like your the only person in the whole world that talks like that.

  • this made me cry too. it made me cry because i tried the speech easy device and it did nothing for me. i drove hours out of my way., the whole way down there i was so excited. i was hoping and praying and when i went to put it on, nothing. for a week a tested it, still nothing. im happy for the people it helps, but its not a guarantee.

  • wow i have a stutter and i thought that mine was bad but it was nothing as bad as hers

  • god damn shes so fucking hot

  • I'm really happy for her. However, there's been evidence that some people with this device begin to stutter again, because the body gets used to the echo and ignores it. I hope this doesn't happy to her.

  • @hmpf prolly like everything just spend periods of time with out it, to let your immunity build back up.

  • She's a cutie.

  • i stutter very rarely..i talk ok when i speak to few people...out of nowhere i will start stuttering when some more start to listen to me..or if what i am conveying is very important...i wont see it coming..and i will feel really frustrated after that..most of my friends dont even know i stutter...

  • I only stutter maybe three or four times a day so I can't even imagine how hard it must be for some people. so glad they have this gadget :)

  • Wow this little device is the answer to the stuttering people. I have no problem with stuttering people. I stutter a little bit after suffering some head trauma.I had a gf that had a sister that was deaf. She was a little hard to understand at times. Sad that stuttering people are judged and some times treated so harshly.

  • I´m pretty glad it worked for her.

When I tried SpeechEasy I read brilliantly the first texts just as her, but any strange method will work at the beginning, as mentioned in Fraser´s book.

Later I found it´s actually not for me, but stuttering changes so much from one person to another I really believe it may work for some people.

  • I hate watching these videos. I have had a stutter since i can remember, but i never started to care till 3 years ago when i realy noticed it. And as im watching these and the person stutters i can feel their pain trying to pronounce the words. Its so hard to explain what a real stutter feels like, its like your heart sinks to your feet, and you feel so scared to say the word. Even though my stutter is not that bad.(maybe one word per paragraph) its still realy annoying to have.

  • I have also stuttered my whole life and it has affected my social like. Always worrying about how people will react to it. Although it is not as bad as it used to be I still stutter the most in when I am on the spot, excited, trying to get something out quickly or up in front of people. I am happy for her though.

  • this is sooo touching <3 i have a stutter and beleave me, its really annoying, and when people who dont know you you yet just looka t you as iff your not wise. it hurts...

and you cant evan get good parts in school plays. :(

but i should really try to get me one of those things that help. i was really

amezed when she put it in and only after 6 secondes or so, shes ok at talking!!

  • @kickassrockssocks

My dream has been to be an actor-but I never joined drama club in high school as much as I and my heart wanted to because of not being able to communicate. Haunts me to thisday.

  • This made me cry too, I know what it's like and just hearing her have that much trouble...it's just so painful

  • i enjoy reading all these comments bcuz even though i dont stutter insanely bad im smiling right now cause i dont feel so alone anymore.

  • Rebecca is an amazing girl.Cute too!.

  • that's amazing

she must of had a nightmare childhood until then

  • The absolute worst thing about stuttering? Introducing yourself.

You can't even say your OWN NAME.

  • @Voref i feel u buddy. *sigh

  • @Voref Oh yeah. That is the worst. I always get the old "What did you forget your name? HA HA HA" I hate it when I have to tell people my daughter's name too because I have to say "um" or "uh" to get the words out.

  • No doubt... It is very stressful meeting new people. I absolutely hate introducing myself, trying so hard not to stutter my own name.

  • @Voref

  • @Voref No doubt..I absolutely stress out when I have to introduce myself.

  • @Voref Agree completely..I hate introducing myself.

  • ik that happens to me sometimes...

  • @Voref I didn't start stuttering until high school. I noticed it first when I was making phone calls. I'd pick up the phone and say, "Hi, this is E-e-e-e-e-e-e-e-------emily. It was horrible. It happened when I was calling my own family. Now I don't seem to have as much trouble on the phone, but I still have issues with certain sounds.

  • @Voref Sounds like my daily ritual...

  • Ain't that the truth bud, I also have a studdering problem had it for yrs! Kolerik

  • i need one of those..

  • Hooray for Rebecca! =)

    Let's eat some cake.

  • THis is great, i am really happy for her.

  • I really need this, where can i get it?

  • I have tears.

  • I am one of those millions that stutter...I struggle with my speech everyday. I cannot say my name without spelling it first. I walk past starbucks other eaterys that are fast food because I cannot order without pointing at the menu. As for this story, I tried the hearing device but It did NOT work for me. So, If I get stuck on a word...I stop...take a breath, and start over. That's all I can do.

  • @PomLuvinMaxEvans i have the same problem. i avoid shops, i eat what i dont want to eat at restaurants because i cant order what i want.. and forget about ordering through drive-through!! why did this device not work for you???? i really wanna get one, but it's insanely expensive!

  • Very cool.

  • She is such a pretty and cute girl and im happy she is better :)

  • I am very very happy cause she is happy...how wonderful it is???

  • o man great for her!

i was a stutter 2 but i grown over it for some reason :D

  • i'm suffering for this also ppl use to make fun on me every time!!!!!, i really don't understand why ppl think this is funny if stucking on words it doesn't look or feel funny sometime i get depressed evn my own family use to make fun on me.i'm 21yrs old i guess when ill b 41 ill b in a same situation cz i don't hav any symphety for my self abt it gonna b cure i leaved this to allah if he wnt to heal me he will do otherwise ill entertain ppl like this.

  • @samirali88 i am also muslim and i used to stutter, i pray every day to make it go away, now its gone. but it comes back every now and then. Hope you get better brother.

  • @laxedskater009 it didn't go away because you prayed.

  • @vinny873 what ever you say Dr knowitall.

  • wow thats a great device.

  • I felt so happy for her when she could speak fluently. You could see how happy her mum and dad were

  • wow

  • I'm sort of unclear about the end at 2:22-- I think maybe one of her parents say "We just want to hear you talk. Never stop talking"

I think what they meant is "we just want to hear you talk clearly. Never stop talking now that you can more easily"

It is because she has this kick-arse speech easy that she should never stop talking. Now that she has the ability to spit out words, one would never want to shut up. All that bottled up fluency finaly gets released via that speecheasy.

  • Before Rebecca had that speecheasy, I bet she hated talking because she was never understood....but now she can communicate-- rock on babe!

  • Where can I get one of those?

  • im in south carolina 23yrs old i feel everyone's pain but we just have to fight and think positive no matter how hard it gets..my stuttering gets bad over the phone or with words that start with W,the number 3,ordering food...jus stay strong..we have too

  • im 15 and i used to stutter this bad, i still have trouble every now and then.

but your comment really helps. my friends think im from a different planet everytime i stutter

  • That is truly amazing. But I'm curious... why does hearing an almost immediate playback at a different pitch assist with stuttering? *goes off to research* I felt so corny, but when she read that passage again I could feel myself tearing up lol

  • So amazing. My fellow stutterers out there do not give up hope!

  • that was awesome when she spoke i started clapping lol

  • wow incredible device!

  • that is very emotional!!!!

i hav da same problem and dats exactly wat i need

  • i dont like stuttering is there A CURE!

  • damn i need one of these

  • as do I.

  • as a fellow stutterer, i am soooo happy for rebecca. im so glad to see someone overcome their stammer.

  • omfg this is amazing 5*

  • i was truely amazed after i have seen this, but then i looked up the price: 4100 dollars!!!! OMG i really hope that this technology will be so advanced one day that it is affordable for everyone or will even be carried by health insurances (i mean whats the big difference to hearing devices or simple glasses?)

  • @babetiger99

Where can you buy it? It's worth it!

  • Comment removed

  • She is so pretty. She could be a model.

  • Darn right! A model of courage and gorgeousness!

  • that is amazingg, i smilied (:

  • I am so happy for Rebecca. Keep on talking and never, ever stop.

  • shes sooooooo cute!

  • I would really benefit from this too. Please, someone let us know how to find out more information on this. I have been stuttering since I was 7, I am now 33. My life has been severely affected by stuttering.

  • how Can I get one of those? they're amazing!

  • i atually stutter and i just hate those words where you just cant say dont you

  • Man-- I wish I knew Rebecca in person. As a nasty stutterer that I am- and a dear friend she looks like--wow I must give this as a valentine's day gift of inspiration.

  • lol, mini ear dildo

  • Usually i don't care about being stuttering... But sometimes is a pain in the ass. :( Well i'm 30's old and im have my life without problem. But this new device can really help those who can't speak at all, my stuttering is not so serious, but i know some people who can't barely speak.

  • I smiled when watching this. I'm a stutterer and this made me feel so happy for Rebecca. Don't stop talking, Rebecca!

  • @TheAfrican88 i believe in you one day you will be a pilot, stutter or not. (:

  • oh rebecca, sweety! Good for you! Amazing.

  • those things can make a patient relaxed. nothing else

  • what the fuck, man? :X
