im getting a fender strat from my cusin, it has a neck from an ok ibenez guitar, the design of the body has no pickgaurd. the design on the guitar is going to have Eddie Van Halens Bumblebee guitar design, its freakin sweet, the pickups i think came from the ibenez that he took parts from, but im swtching one of them for a fender pickup hes giving me, ill video tape it when i get it its freakin sweet =]

I'm not really a fan of Strat's. I used to want one just like that, but I got over them. Used to be obsessed with them, but I got very into Dean guitars when I got a Dean Cadillac which I find superior in just about every way. Every Strat I ever played sounded kind of anemic---maybe why it's Yngwie's favorite guitar---and I've never been a fan of the neck, never felt right, mine is super thin, when I play a Strat now, it's more like holding a neck made from a 2x4.

my mexi strat is white on white also, it has the humbucker instead of the single coil in the bridge position and has a rosewood fretboard. i also upgraded the volume and tone knobs to chrome knobs to give it more style

I have the exact same one..... and even though it has a poly finish i can still feel that thing vibrate like crazy when i strike a chord. it vibrates kinda like my 1961 stratocaster which has a very worn nitro finish (original finish). so the whole nitro vs. poly rant isn't always true and is debatable. Anyways stratocasters are the shit. Gearmandude is also the shit.
