But just saying- Try to make the guy appear where he wants to go half way through his disappearance. Like while hes disappearing, He is also appearing at the same time.... It creates that fast, speedy look... I don't know... 5/5!!!
hello fxhome. my friend says that he wanted to have the program but i didn't tell because he is a copy cat. but every time when i render my video there is a fxhome sigh at the bottom of the screen help please. how can i make my video not showing the programs name. please reply my comment fxhome
The FXhome watermark is because you're using the demo. If you don't want the watermark, you need to purchase the full version from the FXhome website.
@equilibriumFilms100 push the "preview render timeline selection" in the lower left of the screen, then let it render, and you can see it as usual, but if you change your effects, or add more of them, you have to do it again :) good luck mate!
how did you get the shots looking so high quality? I have composite lab, and whenever I take my high definition footage from my camera into the program, edit it, then render it, the quality looks really grainy. I even turned the settings to Best Quality...
The quality shouldn't be reduced at all by CompositeLab, so it sounds like something is going wrong either when you set up your project or when you render. Does the quality look good inside the program? If so, it's probably your render settings: we tend to use the Quicktime Animation codec, if that helps.
Head over to the FXhome website for technical support.
How do you do melt thing at 0:48? Is it possible with compositelab and effectslab? Does it require a greenscreen? And lastly, how to you apply a mask to a grade? Thank you.
You should be able to do this in CompositeLab. We filmed the actor against a greenscreen, then animated him disappearing into the floor. A displacement filter was applied to create the wibbly effect. The full DVD has more info.
The easiest way to apply a mask to grading is to use a grade object, which can be found in the 'effects browser'. This can then be masked like any other object.
do you have a flat-out tutorial on how to make the clone catching a ball, because you show the steps, I just don't know how to do some of those steps.
The effect is explained in detail on the tutorials DVD that this sketch was made for. Follow the link in the 'more info' bit to the right to find out more.

Can I do all of the effects done in the video in composite lab pro? By the way this is AWESOME!!
JimSlimTim 2 years ago
You can do lots of the effects in CompositeLab Pro, but not all of them. The smokey effects when the guy teleports require VisionLab, for example.
fxhome 2 years ago
are you, fxhome, a member of the site or part of the company?
i also purchased visionlab studio on thanksgiving. (three days ago)
it's very cool.
freerunner770 2 years ago
The 'FXhome' Youtube account is managed by the company. Thank you for your purchase!

Visionlab Studio is better than After Effects. After Effects is harder and Visionlab Studio is easier. But what is the song at 00:53 ?
Martinkanal100 2 years ago
I'm not sure you can really compare those two products directly, they designed to do quite different things, despite crossing over in some areas.
The music in this was composed by Bennet Maples, I don't believe the track is available elsewhere.
fxhome 2 years ago
Can you send me the music please? I really want that song.
Martinkanal100 2 years ago
It's not a publicly released piece of music, sorry.

what is better two get VisionLab Complete Bundle or Adobe After effects ?
MrSammyWinchester 2 years ago
It depends on your needs and your budget, so only you can know which product is best for you.
Both are excellent, we tend to focus on visual effects with VisionLab, while After Effects focuses on motion graphics.

does it work with whitescreen or any other colour unless blue, red and greenscreen??
IsaProducitons 2 years ago
Does what work? Blue and green are used for backing because they don't show up too much in human skin.

Wouldn't nightcrawler get fat from being so lazy? He just teleports everywhere.
rhysie21 3 years ago
You see the white smoke/dust that is generated everytime he teleports?
That's fat.
fxhome 3 years ago
Ah, makes sense. Doesn't really explain why his muscles are so toned, though.
rhysie21 3 years ago
It seem's like you was being sarcastic, was you? Lol, i love the special effects in your video's. It's the best.
IlluminatedJones6 2 years ago
the smoke is acctually from the atmosphere of the unknown dimension that he goes through when he teleports
TrueBeliever77 2 years ago
That is very true. Though 25% of the smoke is still evaporated fat.
fxhome 2 years ago
Could you tell me what effect that is, looks like it evaporates when he telaports? its really cool.
