PoR is such an awesome game. I finished it yesterday and it took me a whole month! Fire Emblem games are usually the games the take the longest time to beat and this was only on normal mode.

But I like RD a bit better because it's even longer and a bit more epic. I mean, you beat up a god in that game.

But I've never heard about a secret ending in RD, how do you get it?

the one you called simply "Fire Emblem" is most commonly referred to as Fire Emblem Rekka no Ken or Fire Emblem The Blazing Sword, as not to cause confusion. Unless you're talking about the very first Fire Emblem, whose name is so damned long.

the reason it's cheery is because its played during the end results that tell how well you did with characters in battles and how long you took in chapters.

I havent played path of radiance but i love fire emblem and i love radiant dawn. You're probably gonna thumbs domn me for this but i like the radiant dawn one better. The song is much more subtle.

Radiant Dawn wasn't exactly the superior, but both of them are THE BEST Fire Emblems of all time. They need to make a prequel with Greil!

I also prefer RD's graphics. Cause POR's attack animations were .... eh. Except for Aether. They made it look half as epic in RD than in POR.

Radiant Dawn in my opinon was the Best. The graphics were wonderful, the new classes were just fantastic and it certainly was a real challange. Shadow Dragon failed. Nintendo got us all excited for a peice of crap.

Maniac Mode is not Hard Mode (Radiant Dawn), hence why importing Easy Mode Saves, from Path of Radiance, crashes Radiant Dawn. In Japan,there were these modes, Normal,Hard, and Maniac. Elsewhere, Maniac was replaced with Easy, because it was too hard.

My first comment was a response to a comment of yours stating that Radiant Dawn wasn't a challenge.

Lol, no. POR's difficulty doesn't compare to RD's, simply because of the sheer size of the game, and it's Maniac difficulty. Don't get me wrong, I don't think RD is the best, POR is,but still,I just can't see how RD is easier than POR. Infact, I think POR, is the best,but RD follows closely behind it.

I find PoR easier than RD personally.

RD, particularly on Maniac/Part I, can be a pain in the butt. The only thing that makes RD easier is the Battle Save system it utilizes. It ALLOWS you to experiment and plan out moves perfectly, removing a lot of challenge from the game.
