@Appfishy Some of the changes are fairly significant; basically Sentinel 2 is still a decent TD and probably worth the basic cost, but you get a much more fulfilling title with Sentinel 3 :)
This one is even better than Sentinel 2. I don't think there is a better tower defense game available in the appstore right now.
I'm in love with this game. So kewl
I will not try Plants vs. Zombies until they give it Retina Display capability. It sucks how Popcap WILL NOT upgrade their games. It just shows how lazy they are. And stupid. I would buy peggle and PvZ if they update them.
@Hyperion1012 I'm in the unfortunate position of not having played the originals. I've heard that they're similar, but without prior knowledge all I can say is that this one feels incredibly polished. It may be a case of refinement from their previous titles, in which case fans may be disappointed if there's not enough change. Still, I'm glad I bought a copy ;)
@Hyperion1012 I'm a sentinel fan and I loved the first 2 games. But the 3th one is waaaay beter. You have 10 towers, 8 sentinel weapons, your commanders (+ upgrades, abilities,...), 20 campaign levels, 20 endless levels and 6 classic levels. I also love the new retina display and the tracks (drum and base, dubstep, ... )
I would recommend this game to everyone who like TD games.
@GamersRemote I'm still a huge fan of The Creeps! (so much content!); I'll be grabbing a personal copy of Sentinel 3 as I'd really like to try my hand at some high-difficulty content. The recent releases of iBomber Defense and Monster Feed are excellent grabs and Save Sylva is an older, but still very decent TD title. Red Conquest and Rise of Lost Empires are decent RTS titles, though the App Store is lacking in this department.
@GamersRemote if you don't have it already, you simply must get Plants vs Zombies. It's a fantastic TD game, it's made by Popcap so you know it's going to be good anyway :D
How do you get soo many paid apps, Do you keep on buying iTunes card or credit card or contact the people that make that game and tell them to send you promo codes.
@joker4life109 We purchase them with a company account; I'm not exactly savvy with Tax laws and such, but as a business expense it's not as expensive as it seems :)

Is it worth spending £2.39 on this than getting sentinel 2 for just £0.59?

This seems amazingly similar to the previous two. Are there any major gameplay changes?

@Froggen88 Good point! I keep forgetting that people consider it a TD... I guess it is, but I never got around to classifying it ;)
