agree...all the extra percussion is a scandal and wrecks it. I was at this concert and me and the guys were all pissed off with that bird and her nonsense
I don't think anyone else was complaining, and everyone I spoke to at the show loved it, I made a few friends there, so quit complaining huh! You sound like spoilt brats!
The drummer is there to take your attention away from the fact that Edgar and the other guy are miming. I stopped going years ago after that bloody drummer calypso'd all over Force majeur and other classics.

Amen to the above. I paid £26, stood an hour outside the venue in the pouring rain, stood three hours on the venue floor, all to listen to a one-dimensional OTT top heavy over amplified drummer do a one-woman demolition job on any subtlety that Edgar Froese might have had to offer.
Could have been a good show from TD, a rehabilitated studio act. Unfortunately over the top drums with all the subtlety of a flying brick spoiled things. Why can't Froese realise that he doesn't need models on stage and he doesn't need somebody banging the crap out of the drums all over the music all night. A stripped down live aproach with just synths and a little guitar here and there would serve him well. He's talented enough to pull it off without the other nonsense.
AH, tangerine Dream - with a REAL drummer (percussionist) now we're talking!
The ONLY problem with TD in the past was their infernal (boring) drum machine!
I love this modern reincarnation of TD - with a few more musicians and less machines. (And the drummer is a babe to boot!) Awesome!

Yes, the percussion is a 'little' too high in the mix for my liking.
