you can put a bigger magazine in there with an x-grip on it and have a huge capacity for it plus they do have versions that dont have the mag saftey do some research before you compare it to other guns and you dont have to do all that to break the gun down do research
I hate to say it but you should really be comparing the M&P 40 to that Glock. This other M&P is 4.25 long but carries 15+1 of .40 smith and I really think that is better to compare it to with all things considered.
Fail on the field strip, bro. Since you don't mind dry firing your guns, you can just locked the slide back, rotate the disassembly lever, release and guide the slide into place, dry fire, and the slide pops off in your hand. I have the full size M&P .40 Wouldn't trade it for a glock and a yacht. I'm also half Austrian.
Hey there! Nice video! For the record, you can use a regular sized 40 M&P magazine and purchase a grip extender and have 15+1 rounds of 40 S&W and everything looks stock.
Hey, nice video. When I was researching my M&P .40c, there wasn't much info on it. Couple things though, the M&P does fire without the magazine. It does on mine and it also says it does on S&Ws website. Also, the take down pin takes 1 sec to take down. It's actually quite easy to take it down. The pin (which looks like an "S" or "?" is pulled out into the chamber area easily with ANY thin tool handy.
Just FYI, no failures yet for me!! Still new though with 200 rounds shot through it.
The one in that video will NOT fire with the mag out, I think I tried it in the video. They make some that do and some that don't ( a lot of law enforcement like the ones that wont fire). Your right about the take down, after messing with that one it is very easy.
Yeah, I remembered that after I was done with the video. I'm glad that S and W have been offering them without the mag safety, they even have mag safetys on the older 6906's which were around a lot in the 90's so they have always been a fan of the mag safety.
nice review, but just so you know you can get the m&p's without the mag safety, but the reason its there is alot of police department have that feature as a requirement for their handguns, my m&p doesn't have it cus i don't like it, plus not having it allows me to take it down by dryfireing it instead of using the tool.
i hate when glock enthusiasts do comparisons on guns cause they try to find things wrong with other guns to make the glock look better

S&W M&P 40c = 10 rounds in the mag and 1 in the chamber (stock configuration).
Glock 27 = 9 rounds in the mag , 1 in the chamber (Stock flush mount mag).

Glock sub-compact in .40 only holds 9 rounds in the mag. Not ten. 1:55
