Yeah, you are so right! Also, (I recommend viewing) the documentary "Outrage" is a good case in point about this very issue you just stated. It is a documentary about self loathing, deeply closeted gay men (politicians) in Washington DC, passing anti-gay legislation against gay people, when they themselves secretly have sexual encounters with other men!
