  • Wow! Awesome video! Great mix of clips, concerts, etc, fantastic!!!

Could be named "Viva David Bowie!"

    :))

  • @MultiCathyU Compliment much appreciated by a friend who knows how to do things with an art innate and cultivated (but, rather undeserved): it was one of my first experiments, with a few tools and with a great desire to put something together on the great irony of Bowie, on his sympathy even of ingenious "anti-hero."

In any case, it's true, VIVA DAVID BOWIE! Thousands thanks, my dear.

  • @MultiCathyU I fully agree Fiorella! Great Video!

  • No Comment.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my God... :)))

  • @guitarina

    Grazie, grazie davvero, cara.

  • This is truly excellent what you have done here, very entertaining

  • @dunny0578

Thank you very much, wonderful compliment, since it comes from a Musician who (for me) knows and respects the musical essence of Bowie, but able to interpret it with a remarkable voice (and the original style of Coldfire).

Yes ... DB is also great entertainer . . .

  • FANTASTIC!!! A truly wonderful work, Fiorella! I love it! Thank you so much! :)

PS Sorry, from what video is the 4:46-4:50 part? :)

  • @PeterShishlin

Peter, THANK YOU !!! An appreciation from you makes me really happy, because you're my teacher and (by you) I still have much to learn.

What you wondered: the track is from the DVD "The Best of David Bowie - 1980-1987", song "When the Wind Blows" 1986 (EMI).

  • good video, I love Bowie

  • Thank you, honoured for this comment by a true Musician ...

  • Fandabidosy

  • Wow...that tribute was AMAZING! I was smiling throughout the entire thing. Bowie is definitely one of my "heroes". You perfectly captured his entire career and legacy in this one video. I have to ask, though: which video is the footage from 2:43 - 2:46 from?

  • @PockyBebop

The segment that you ask me is from an "Easter" (a kind of hidden bonus/extra) of the first of two videos "BEST OF BOWIE" - EMI - and is the alternate version for MTV of "Blue Jean "(1984).

Many thanks for the lovely comment: even I was smiling throughout while I was doing it ... ha ha.

    Bowie-effect . . .

  • @theMusicofmyLife1 Thank you! I've only seen the long version of the Blue Jean video, so that version didn't look familiar to me.

  • Dear Fiorella, What an amazing work you have done here as a tribute to the greatest artist of all time. David himself would be honored to see this. You captured so many of The Man's finest moments and artistic genius. Heroes is one of the most powerfully moving songs of all time. One I can listen to endlessly and still be deeply moved and inspired by every time. One of David's greatest songs forever etched in our minds and hearts...Thank You !!!

  • I want to thank for every comment: I've removed a little my fear of being disrespectful. "Heroes" is a colossus, universally understood and loved, that has upset forever Music's sense, even making school; is powerful for authenticity, for high intelligence in hermetic form of Bowie's Journey in the interiority, for the extraordinary intensity of each performance. That wall does not exist if in the Dream we are alive.

An influential masterpiece that has lost none of its splendor, after 33 years

  • dear Fiorella... your beautiful video is a genuine heart felt tribute full of love and appreciation.. it is a true honour to watch and share with you.. this version of Heroes sends shivers down my spine and touches my soul..

  • Thank you so much Fiorella.. my soul sister.. your video is completely brilliant and expresses the essence of our indescribable hero so beautifully, both his talent and his indefinable charisma. His music and charm has mesmerized and fascinated us for over forty years.. there are no words .. only sound and vision.. .. I love him so insanely much (and he has the coolest hair ever lol)...

  • You did a very good job Fiorella! Heroes touches me deep in my heart even if I've heard the song a million times probably. It is so nice to see David's many changes over the years. A great tribute for a great artist and a great song! :-)

  • Fiorella...

    this video is WONDERFUL!!!!

is the most beautiful tribute I've ever seen

the song is EPIC and the clips are BEAUTIFUL

you captured the soul of this men....

and plus you put in it some of my favourite David's video and movies!

    5stars and fave....and...you're AWESOME!

  • I totally adore this live version of Heroes, it's wonderful. I enjoyed the video you put together immensely, very well done Fiorella. It put a smile on my face to see footage from various periods of Bowie's career. And I couldn't agree more with your description and comment here!

  • This was an absolutely fantastic tribute to this song Fiorella. I enjoyed it very much and am very thankful that you've put this together for us. What a talent and absolute sweetheart this man is. Thanks Fiorella!

  • Fiorella, you've done a beautiful job with this video, it's definitely a worthy tribute to one of the most powerfully emotional, deeply heartfelt songs of all time. David always puts so much strength and passion in this song, that you feel it down to your very core. All those wonderful clips really showcase the many facets of this sweet, gentle and amazingly gifted man. I truly enjoyed, hugs, Carol

  • I thank you for having watched and, above all, I agree with the concept, "Heroes" is DB.

Invariably is something which moves me deeply and, at the same time, gives me a smile.

I have to confess, Master Bowie always puts me good mood, even when he sings the moments of human despair ... he knows do it passionately and with a touch of lightness, of elegant detached irony, which means only ART, blossomed from a big heart and from a great mind.

  • @Scoobydoonut Very well said!!! Agree with every word :-)
