  • have the same one does the same thing gettin ready to tear int to it my dad used to to be a karcher service center he thinks he knows what it is some thinng about a check valve also my unit may have froze once

  • @meier259 keep me informed.

  • main problem is its a karcher, throw it out and get a briggs and stratton

  • @pivotboy63 It's fixed. Or, as an alternative, you mail $400 to me, I'll buy whatever you insist.

  • i know why becose you use it more then 3 hours

  • @bindubaiuae50 What is that supposed to mean? It's fixed. I've used it more than 3 hours since then, and it's fine.

  • all same story ,it s crap

  • @riser3500 once fixed, she works. You freeze these things with water in them, they'll all break. Most things do. So it's not a problem with the unit, it was a problem with the previous owner.

  • Karcher Pressure washers that exhibit the hammering or pulsing noise when the trigger is released, normally indicate that the control head is split with a hair line crack. If the pressure washer isn't leaking but just pulsing replace the control head. This part normally costs between £15 and £29 to buy online.

  • last time the name is kärcher is a german product and its written with ä

  • @snoke57 So? In English we use capitals at the beginning of a sentence, and periods at the end. We also use proper sentence structure.

  • @BeeRich33 alright good to know and kärcher is still written with ä i mean thats the name and you cant just change it because its hard to pronounce

  • @snoke57 I didn't change it for any reason, other than that people whose mother tongue is different, often do not employ accents.

  • omg i have the exact same pressure washer and it does the same thing i tried to take it apart and i did but couldn't find the problem

  • I finish off by emptying the washer of all water before packing away incase of freezing over winter. I have had my karcher washer 15 years no problems. As with most things treat with respect and you will get more out of it.

  • I've had 2 karchers, sound much the same as this. Then they just gave up. These things aren't cheap down under, but i've got a feeling they are just overpriced junk. They work OK WHEN they work. Mine stopped completely this morning, it's a K291. Anyone know if it's repairable (or worth repairing)

  • @rickym49 Sure it is. Check out some of the parts stores online. You can replace a lot of the parts yourself. Also some videos here that should help. It's a seal that's bad, or maybe 60 bucks for a pump assembly.

  • Help ,water come out of the gun but no pressure and water pumps inside.please help .

  • @jellis4465 not sure what you mean. Might have to take it apart.

  • @BeeRich33 thanks for getting back to me.

  • Karcher makes crap pw's

the seams on the cheap high pressure parts cant handle the p.s.i. and crack.

The replacement parts are more than the cost of a new one if you add all the cheap parts that keep splitting.

DO NOT BUY A KARCHER!!!!! They are CRAP!!!!!

Put these cheap assholes out of business.

  • Have you ever went on a motorcycle on russian roads? =) i think that there is! so even after one is not a big trip on forests and fields of the motorcycle almost completely covered with mud! I 'm a fan of the phrase "ignore the world of glamour! travel on the enduro!" =) and by the way don 't understand your statement on the account of my opinions about plastic need to do the inside of the pump at least from non- ferrous alloys, and plastic apply only because of its cheapness

  • @MaksimusDRZ the plastic is only on the outside. I live in Canada. We have mud too.

  • @MaksimusDRZ You do realise we are talking about a broken pressure washer don't you?

  • I own a motorcycle my cloth and a bucket of water! and the dirt from the hose wash off! the result is excellent! although it is necessary pressure stronger... and also i think a similar device to buy, but the quality of... leaves much to be desired, there are all working the inside of the plastic! and the plastic... durability and reliability while not have (sorry for crisp, sharp text, I am a russian =)

  • @MaksimusDRZ Plastic? Open it up and have a look. That is just a shroud. You don't need a pressure washer for a motorcycle. I use mine for a lot of things where a rag won't do.

  • made in (china = ass) ! =)))

  • @MaksimusDRZ If it was made in the USA, it would be made by unions, and it would be $2300. Then nobody would have one, and even more people would be unemployed. Then the quality would be up there with things like GM, Chrysler, Ford. Beaten by Toyota.

  • @BeeRich33 Mine is made in Brazil.. It works very well... good deal

  • Spend some money on a real PW- these units are unreliable toys.

  • @GDMAZ What for? $1000 for pressured water? I should just take my car to the car wash then.

  • I'd guess it has something to do with that leak. You've prolly fixed it by now but I just bought one of these from a yard sale and it has the same leak problem. Doesn't turn off and on like that but it will not build up pressure. I took it apart and the High Pressure Outlet,(where you hook up the sprayer), actually had a hairline crack in it. I'm in the process of fixing it. Gonna try to use a soldering gun and melt it back together. If that don't work I'll just buy a new piece I guess. :(

  • @dcoy20 Yeah I had it sent out to get fixed. I haven't tried it yet, but should soon. Too expensive. I should have done it myself.

  • @BeeRich33 Well if you need parts I found this place called ereplacementparts . com which is where I got my piece. Anywho, hope it works flawlessly :)

  • @dcoy20 For $220, it had better work flawlessly. I know of this online place, and I should have just fixed it myself. I don't mind stuff like this.

  • I know how to fix it... upload your rush video from May 24, in port Dalhousie, or make another one : ) that'd be great!

  • @Ostrasize LOL I wish I had that. It's gone...forever. And they banned it anyway. I have an idea who reported that. Some people, eh?

  • @BeeRich33 Some people indeed.. It was the first video I watched when I got my new computer, which is probably why I remember it so well.. you should definitely film another one.. before summer ends perhaps?

  • @Ostrasize actually...if you have another look, I searched my archives and found that video. Heh. It's uploaded. I might drive down and do another one, just for kicks. Glad you liked it.
