lol, everytime I go to East Tower quest, I always find it really retarded of that Gibbles. I remember with a partner in this quest and he pretty much humping the rails. lol I totally got the advantage of beating them.
No, the little robots (Recon) have nothing to do with it. Game programming doesn't permit Gibbles to jump on you while you are near a wall. You can glitch into this easily even if they are right in your face and no "pit" is between you and them.
