  • Yeah it's all stock...

  • Is your exhaust standard?

  • nice ride dude,i had the 955 2006 last year,it got jacked, the 675 daytona is my next bike.smaller than the 955,but hope i dont really miss the room i had with it for this.other than thank,i think the engine must be smoother than its big brother?tref

  • Great video! Thank you so much for not putting some lame ass music clip over the top of it.

  • the sound the sound.... the SOUND: OMG =)

  • sounds like FERRARI!! Amazing!!!!!!! Personally is EVEN BETTER!

  • 3 cylinders sound the best!!!

  • what are you doin with a Harley keychain? Get rid of that trash on your Triumph bud

  • @bolson630

LOL Already gone, I hated it blowin around in the wind

  • speed 75 ha

  • NO WAY! I do the speed limit.....

  • Nice vid. The roads you have there look stunning!

  • Hey im 5'11" and was wondering how tall you are and how well it fits you? Im skinny so i think i would fit pretty good, but yes i know i just need to go sit on one.. =P

  • I'm right around that tall so I see no problem. Long rides tend to get the knees aching a bit but my Harley isnt much better. Still need to stop and take a break.

  • I'm 6'0 and 190lbs, the 675 "fits" me just fine.

Just another benefit of being taller!

  • I am really interested into the Daytona 675 bike, i have been doing research and just fascinated about this bike. Thanks for your great video because i have been lookin at a video and see how well they perform out on the road. I currently ride a Suzuki Gs500f and looking for an upgrade which appears to be this bike. I am currently 6'6" and was wondering if a tall fella like me could fit on it. Is is comfortable? I sat a on a 09 cbr and thought it was comfortable, but the 675 is something i want.

  • Might be a little tall for the 675. If you get a chance, try sittin on one with your feet on the pegs.

  • @BigJon930 I'm going to get so much hate from this comment (on a triumph video) get a Buell 1125r or 1125cr. if your not going for a race bike (just street and track day) it is a great bike i love mine. if you want to race bikes, then walk past the Buells and get the 675 or an R6. (but i'm bias, i like twins over 4 cylinders)

  • @wellness1125r the daytona is3 cyclinders ha. Well i've heard maintence issues with the buell 1125r or 1125cr. Even Harley Davidson is going to stop selling them or being apart with that company.

  • the problems that they were having with the 1125's were mostly with the '08's. Harley Davidson dropped the Buell line due to lack of sales (HD did little to no marketing for Buell, and that is why they only sold 13,000 last year world wide) if you can find one now you will not have any problems (well none more than most other bikes)

  • @BigJon930 Yo jon I'm 6'3 and got an 06 675, im sellin it because after long rides like over an hour my knees get all fucked up. good bike though overall just hard on long legged peeps.

  • the sound similar to inline 6....very silky and smooth

  • Nice. I've been taking interest in the 675. How's it handle the twisties? I hear they handle pretty darn good.

  • The Triumph handles pretty good although the suspension is still the factory settings. Might be better if I have it done.

  • Great bike. I've got an 08 black 675 myself :). Where are you located? These roads are fantastic! Wish I could find a few more like this around me here in the Kansas City area! Have you done any modifications to the bike now that it's broken in?

  • Hey Thanks,... I'm located about 20 miles from Valley Forge PA. which is where I amm returning from. Took a nice ride through the National Park and stopped for a couple photos. The only mod I've done so far was a Zero Gravity Double Bubble windscreen I can tuck under during those high speed moments!

  • love the sound! hey think of how much weight you would be saving if you didn't have so many keys on your keyring! LOL!

  • Fck, that is one sweet sounding machine!

  • Yea, the 500 Mi, 5K break in is painful to observe, wonder if they can remap the ECU for the arrow exhaust while it's still under breakin?

  • Can't see the speedometer :(

  • Learn to ride in the right RPM range and you'll enjoy the bike much more. Consider a performance riding school like Pridmore etc. He'll break your bad habits.

  • Thanks for the advice, but if you read some of the earlier posts, the bike was new and I was breaking it in. That's the reason for the low rpm's. Trust me it was killing me not to twist it up...I had to contain myself!

  • and the bike has all of it's power in the midrange=x

  • This bike sound's like a Porsche.

  • lol

  • haha no it doesnt, or at least it dont sound like ours

  • @tbg008- Well, you could consider it to be half a Porsche's engine. (Albeit shrunk down.)

Porsches have inline 6s, this has an inline 3.

    That's why they sound similar.

  • @BikeMann09 yes mate, i know ! not exactly half porsche engine, becose porsche engines are not inline 6.. they are flat 6. 3 in each side abviously. what make they sond similar is the space of time between the explosions. (just like the inline 4 09 R1 engine soung like an v4)

  • @BikeMann09 but u r right, is half porsche engine anyway ! i just wanted to correct, make the inline 6, flat 6 for porches.

  • @tbg008- Oops! Sorry about that. I stand corrected...

  • @BikeMann09 No they dont!

  • @mattyoz0 Porsches don't have inline 6's? I completely agree! That was a stupid misconception i had at the time. I stand corrected...

Thinking back on it now, i can't believe i mistook the porsche flat 6 for an inline 6.

  • Woo, sweet. I just put a deposit on mine, 2006 scorched Yellow (its faster ;-)) 2,100 miles on clock. got my test on 20th Apr. Can't wait, just better make sure I don't fail!! Got it from dealer just round the corner from the factory.

    Safe ridin!!!

  • NICE!!! The wait is the hardest parts. I was fortunate enough to find one on the showroom floor, but had to wait a few days to finalize the paperwork. Good Luck and Thanks

  • hey hows that bike for gear ratio in wheelies

  • Just squeeze the throttle in first and hang on. I've had it come up on me a few times without warning. Search on here for 675 wheelie. You'll find some.

  • thats wut i feel now. i am one years older than you but it is not allowed to drive such bikes untill 21 in my country as well .

thx for this video. Thats the most incredible sound ive ever heard

  • I just love that sound! I'm just 17 and bikes over 25KW are only for people over 21 in my country but i want one so badly. :D

  • that is just hillorius perfekt 5*

  • I live in the Town where these are built, I drive passed the factory each time i go to the shops, I want one badly! Great bike and vid

  • arent they made in leicester? or as our american friends would say "lie-chester..... whooooo get in the hole gawdammit!"

  • bliss

  • i love the roaring sound of your bike mate very very nice bike.and wen you gave it sum revs about 2 mins in it sounded like a baute.

  • Thanks Guy. It's crazy when you're on it and it just keeps on pulling!! Most fun I ever had on two wheels...

  • Seriously considering getting one of these now. I have a gsxr 600 k2 at the moment but it doesn't sound as good as this!

  • They changed the design a bit and it also has a bit more ass for 09!

  • good to hear no wind noise!

  • Chester County PA? I might buy a Daytona T595 from Chester County this week, near Downingtown.

  • Are you from that area? I'll have to keep an eye out for a T595. Not too many around that I see... Good luck with it.

  • stunning engine howl in the mid range... almost like a porsche 911 dude...

  • Yeah man, this thing sings in the upper rpm's.

It's supposed to do 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. I read that figure in one of the early reviews and comparisons with other sport bikes in it's class. The '09 is rumored to have even more power. Can't wait to test ride one!! Thanks for the comment...

  • i'm gettin a cbr f4i first but after that i'm getting a 675... hows not having the slipper clutch? i mean i'm on my 08 250r ninja now and blippin the throttle takes quite a twist. also hows maintenance as far as cost?

  • Hey Bud, I can't say I have experience with slipper clutches, but I will say you need to be careful going down into first. I've had the ass kick out a bit but I was kind of expecting it so I was ready for it. As far as maintenance, I've only had my first service done and it's no more than any other sportbike. The bike has been pretty dependable so far...

  • I am also curious about the main. and reliability of Triumphs. If it's anything like my suzuki I'm sold.

  • how do u like the riding position and how it handles?

  • Took some getting used to the ride position, but once you find a happy spot on the seat and twist the throttle you don't mind it so much. As far as the handleing, All I can say is take one for a test ride if you can find one!!! You might get hooked...

  • Yeah Bud, I know!!! If you read the first couple posts you'll see it was a new bike and I was still breakin it in, not to mention I was pretty nervous since it was new. I've been on that road since then and I've taken it alot faster, but it's not a race track...

  • u have the best bike you could buy as SS but the road is fucking boarding man i have filmed a friend whit a daytona and I a have speed trple my self but the road is not so boarding

  • great riding! love triumphs ..please can you bring back a long stroke 1000 cc thanks .

    cc

  • Go to some local bike shows and watch what all the women are looking at and who they're hanging out with.

  • I'm looking for the right bike to guarantee me better luck in the pussy department. HOw is this bike working out for you?

  • get a sedduction workshop man a bike is to ride not to fuck it can help but its not going to change your life

  • Do 675's have a slipper clutch? I am considering a Triumph over I4's and an 848. I'v come to realize its a near perfect bike.

  • No they don't! But you can get an aftermarket slipper for it. Don't let this be the deciding factor. I would suggest a test ride!!!

  • The Daytona doesnt sound very nice in this vid, maybe you need a race pipe? I like my twins and have an '04 Aprilia RSV-R with Akrapovic pipes. Now that's more like it!

  • Check out my other vids. My buddy has an 04 with dual carbon Arrows and it sounds awesome.

He's in a couple of the videos I have posted and you can hear the pipes when he stops next to me.

  • I did! The bike was brand new and I was nervous as hell!!!

  • I just got mine two days ago in Neon Blue. I was freaking Nervous too man. at least you have an open road really open her up. I had to deal with Traffic but nevertheless its a sweet ride

  • Nice color! It glows.. I live close to a bunch of farms and there's so many twisty roads around here, it's hard to figure out where to ride. I'm going to have my suspension set up for some track riding soon so it should handle some of the curves alot better. Good luck with the bike and thanks for the comment...

  • chester county rocks for riding. godspeed.

  • Part of this ride was on newly paved road. Started winding it up and thought I saw a cop on a side street so I grabbed some clutch and coasted!!! And YES there are some killer roads in chester county. I was on my way home from riding in and around Valley Forge. Nice!!!

  • i see that you have a freind with a aprilla 1000, im thinking about getting one, in your opinon is the aprilla nicer than a cbr1000rr, becuase i love both bikes, but im italin and i would love to ride a bike made by my own people but i love hondas(there bikes only hate there cars)but any comment would be nice thanks, nice riding man look like a lot of fun

  • if you want an Italian bike you may want to check out ducati. their stuff is always top-notch.

  • all right thanks

  • In my honest opinion, I like the Aprilia. Everyone has a Honda! My Buddy and I went to a local bike night (VERY LARGE EVENT) with these bikes and they drew more attention because you just don't see them everywhere. Some people have never seen an Aprilia OR a Triumph Daytona 675. Check the cost of insurance also. Might be cheaper being less of them being crashed!!! Good Luck.

  • thanks man i will look in to it

  • I bought an aprilia falco in late september last year (Its a 2001 but it is still nice-see my vids) I love the bike. It has so much character. One thing I like about the aprilias is that they need less maintainence than the ducati's. Don't get me wrong, I love ducati's also but I just don't have the time or knowledge to do the servicing myself. I like that the aprilia is a little more exclusive then ducati also.

  • Those are nice bikes. I also like the Tuono's

The thing I dislike about the Ducati's is the dry clutch. They are noisy as hell! Something I just could'nt deal with. Although the new 848 has a wet clutch and should be a bit quieter. Can't wait for a demo ride so I can try one on for size!! Thanks for the comment.

  • ma se vedete un tornate che fate? strade monotone...;(

  • hey you owners of the td675 how is the ride height? im a short man so, 170cm so i was wondering if that will be a problem?

  • It's a bit more agressive seat position(more race like I think) but I'm comfortable on it since I'm about 5'10".

The best thing to do is sit on one, and ride it if you get the chance. I Love mine!!!

  • Nice Ride, Men:):)

  • Nice ride. I have a 675 (red) still in the break in period as well - now that winter is here, no riding for a while. Your Harley Davidson key fob cracked me up!

  • Thanks guy... The Harley isn't as much fun to ride but it is more comfortable on those longer road trips. Check it out on one of my other videos. It's nice, but to be honest with you, I want to trade it in on another Triumph. I like the new Street Triple 675.

I also dig the new Ducati 848! Beautiful bike!

  • hey bud hate to be annoying but you had your highbeams on :P i have an 07 Daytona 675 in graphite :D love em soo much! 4,000 ks on mine so i let it sing all the time hehe

  • whats with keeping it in 4th and 5th man....drop her down to 3rd and 2nd and let that thing SING! well thats what i do with my 675. either way good choice on bike.

  • Just trying to break her in. Did'nt want to twist it too hard until my first service was complete. Thanks for the suggestion though.

  • forget everything u know about "breaking in" an engine. Its the biggest myth in the motoring industry!. Your bike is put on a dyno and revved to the limiter, before it leaves the factory!. With a new engine the best way to break it in is to ride it very hard with alot of 'full throttle' pulls. This beds in the rings properly.......which means your engine wil perform the best it can.

  • Well there were a few times when I just could'nt help twisting it up!!! And most of those times I was pushing it hard keeping up with my Buddy on his Aprilia RSVR 1000! He loves to go fast and I hate to lag behind...

  • Im thinking of getting one......whats it like to ride compared to a jap bike?? Im a little put off by its "ass-up" ride position.....but i dont know. How does it feel around the streets n stuff??

  • Good vid man. can't wait to get my 675.:)
