@TetsuXDD yeah i understand wat u mean, but y the hell would the game producers make Oni come out from a tree? according to my sources, Oni came about from some kinda thunderstorm when Akuma was training, which has nothing to do with Gouken. u got me on that one.

i really think that oni is a fusion of akuma and gouken. think about it. oni's upper cut is a bit similar to gouken's ultra upper cut. both of them cud charge their hadouken. oni and akuma got the raging demon. and whenever they do an ultra, there's no k.o., just silence. so dats just my view.

@kickstand801 By uppercut, you mean that flying one? Ryu, Ken, Akuma and Gouken can use it (while Dan and Sakura use other versions), but Oni shouts "Goshoryu" (Goshoryuken meaning Strong Rising Dragon Fist) which is also the name of Akuma's Shoryuken (again, Goshoryuken). I see what you mean when he charges his Hadouken, but I don't think fusion is in Street Fighter. Not only that, but why would Gouken be with Akuma? He killed their master (Goutetsu) and nearly killed Gouken! Let's try a wiki~!

@AlexanderHatakeBack Where'd you come to that conclusion? O_O; Sure, it isn't Shin Akuma, but they're similar!

As read up, Oni is Akuma who meditated and trained for so long, that the negativity has given him a completely new form. An ogre! Also, think about Akuma's arcade ending in SSF4. What was that spell? We never saw the end to it, but Oni might actually be its end result! O_O;

Also, Oni is a "What-If" character simply because people love Super Saiyans.

@conradojavier Yes you can. You just need the right amount of First Strikes, Perfects, and Super/Ultra Victories.

1. A transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and samsara. It represents the final goal of Buddhism.

2. Liberation of the soul from the effects of karma and from bodily existence.

Something like that. Hey, if Gouken is all about "nothingness", then this should make sense.

06:53 what was that? some sort of EX attack cancel? how do you even do it?

@White0Hawk It's like any other Cancel: Consuming 2 super, you can cancel an attack and hopefully follow with a good combo.

To do this, press Focus (MP and MK. Can be held) right when a hit lands. Only certain attacks can be lead into a Focus Cancel, such as the first hit of Ryu's Shoryuken or a Hadouken up close. Most players quickly cancel the Focus by double tapping a direction to dash and continue their ground combo.

Even Akuma wasnt psychotic with his demon rage pre Oni, like Evil Ryu is. Ryu just wants to kill anything. Akuma atleast had standards

i enjoyed the playthrough, only thing is that i wish that i could have seen more of evil ryu's special move i only seen it once through the playthrough and it was nice, but other than that, u did ya thing

@Kyorinmaru Gouken's Back throw does no damage but it does set you up for some simple comboes.
