I was at this show and although Muse was really good the sound was a mess and it was hard to understand anything they were saying.The singer had a strong English accent and that didn't help,but it wasn't their fault the sound was so bad.When U2 came on the sound was crystal clear from where I was.

I was there in the lower section,the sound was not that great,it improved when U2 came on,Muse was really great,I went out and bought the new album,it's great!!

i think i know why no one's jumping , muse were only performing as special guests, these guys paid mainly to see U2. Maybe they are totally strangers to Muse's songs. I would jump till my feet bleed lol.

I personnally prefer muse (my favorite) but I love U2 and if muse opened for Them it's because in the US (and Ireland of course) U2 are much more popular they just love a more "classic" rock and I respect that

I was at this show in Dallas and had never heard of Muse (ever - not a single sone on the radio). Before hearing them, I just viewed them as "an opening act" I had to tolerate before U2. Then they played this song and I was BLOWN away. What a kick ass band! When I asked the guy in front of me how I could have never heard of them, he said, "look, these guys sell out stadiums in Europe." America needs to have better taste in rock bands. SHAME on MUSE for not playing Knights of Cydonia in TX!

Muse is going on here in Europe for abouth 9 years now . Saw em live in 2006 and on Monday in Antwerp . Kinda sad to see a great band like Muse still have to do support acts whilest tey are so Great ..To great to not been able to show there own show fully ;)

They are more than that here...they are just not huge yet...They've played the festivals in the US and usually get 2nd to last spot at ACL and Coachella

@dafunkymex This year back in april they headlined coachella and are also headlining ACL this october AND they are also headlining the voodoo Experience in louisiana too so I think they are really getting somewhere in the USA by headlining all these events.

I too was way up high, just above the stadium's second video ring, and the sound was crap! It's always too bad that the opening act never gets the sound system's full capacity. I understand why, but its just too bad. Muse rocked. Sound sucked (and the $8.50 pulled pork sandwiches were outrageously priced... but damned good!... Damn you Jerry!)
