  • My understanding is that motor signals/innervations are sent via the ventral root/rami of the spinal nerve.right? If yes, then why is it that the superficial muscles of the back receive sensory innervation from the Ventral rami of spinal nerves. For example, the lats receive motor innervation from the thoracodorsal but receives SENSORY innervations from the ventral rami of the spinal nerve.I thought Ventral rami only sends MOTOR innervations and NOT SENSORY.please can you clarify this for me?

  • very good job, thank you.

  • Your are a great teacher!

  • what do you mean by pcs? the pectoralsi major is innervated by medial and lateral pectoral nerve. The axillary nerve innervates you deltoid and teres minor.

  • i dont thin the innervation of the pcs are the axillary, should be medial and lateral pectoral nerve, coorect if wrong

  • yeah he is great
