Hi Ike, I'm having trouble in tuning my code red on my Destroyer 350. It seems I can't bring it down enough so it doesn't hit the shelf and the arrow stays under or alined with the burger holes. Do you know if this particular bow has that problem? I've send you an email with photos but didn't got an answer yet. hope you can help me.
@crazed20000 I have had mine out in single digits and it worked just fine. Rain and sleet can be a hinderance if it is allowed to build up on your rest or cord.
Hi again, I'm having an issue I hope u can help me with. The other day I installed the code red and adjusted everything set it to shoot Fob's and adjusted the let down speed so when I get to full draw it disengages. Today when I was shooting I noticed the fobs ripping the cloth fabric on the forks. And I even cracked a few Fob's. Any ideas as to what might be going on here? I used the fob provided to check for clearance and I have plenty on all sides. Any help you could provide would be
@TheTxtreeman It sounds like your rest is not dropping quick enough. I have little experience with fobs so this maybe a question directed at Starrflight.
Just installed this on a bear charge! Fits perfect and works great for FOBS. Best investment I ever made. Thanks for the video helped me install it right on the money. TX
@bluegrasssingingman looks fine to me too... even if it is to short or hanging out 8" too long who cares hes setting up a rest not arrow length mr obvious... I get so fucking tired of people that write stupid ass one liner comments on good informational videos nice vid by the way!
is there a way to prevent the rest from smacking on the bow when its released or should it be putting the brakes on before it gets that low?? with my center shot set up properly on my viper v7 the left fork on the rest (as if looking down sights) is making contact when released.
@ikesoutdoors alright thanks, thats what i did, made a world of difference.Hopefully my buddy doesnt get too pissed when he notices the piece of felt i sniped off his poker table. be cool if the guys at ripcord maybe looked into making a silenced style internal brake system. i guess it is one of the more quiet ones already but that would still be sweet.

@crazed20000 Not with a Ripcord. I use this rest because it is trouble free. I have shot one for 4 years and had 0 problems.

@wayoftheblade Unfortunately not. I usually put some felt under mine if it starts to make a lot of noise.

Can I use this rest for bowfishing as well or will I have to switch them out and re sight in everytime?
ky3232 1 year ago
@ky3232 I don't see a problem with using it for bowfishing as long as you get proper clearance.
