Ha! According to conspiracy theorist logic, this proves 9/11 was caused by a volcano.

your perception of "conspiracy theory logic" would not work very well for the detectives who must employ it to do their jobs. A detective might be inclined to look at the gas and debris that composed the mini-pyroclastic flow for each building's demolition and reference it to volcanos - which produce such flows as "a common and devastating result of certain explosive volcanic eruptions." ... and there is that word again... "explosive".
