The bush bar mounts to part of the lower rad support and the front tow loops.
I am contemplating building and selling them... Let me know if you do seriously want one.
I have built up another metro, this one dose not have the hood scoop, but it is built much the same. I would rather fix and drive these "shitbox" cars than any thing else. Until you drive one that's been hopped up, you can't knock them. They can be the ultimate sleeper...
That car is awesome. If he has the time and builds it to his liking, more power to him. When he gets a new nice car then he will have the basic skills to work on it. I wanna see that thing on the track :)
@bartsimpson67543 Pretty easy I'd say you just get some white doors from the wrecker, some new primer black fenders and its different colours. Or you could use masking tape and spray paint.

Looks like people either love it or hate it... The new one I'm building will be just as purpose built as the old one. (the old one is the one shown in this video). I will be lifting the new one 1.5", aluminum bush bar with a 3000 lb winch, dual sealed beams in the top of the bush bar for longer projection, lower profile shaker hood scoop, building a new style duramax raised vented hood for it, experimental all purpose header + exhaust system, perf. cam, wet NOS (a light shot), the list goes on.
@TheBugatti05 They originally were made for other countries with smaller streets, started out with Geo but then Chevy bought geo and made there own version, hence, now in the US.
Ya, that's my metro... It's not on the road right now. I got into an accident this winter, and banged it up a bit... That bush-bar is the only thing that saved it! Lol
@Lilxcentric Yeh I am just building a cow pusher bar for the ol VW now, think I am cutting down an old Dodge pickup bush bar to fit n modify.
We have to have a beer sometime, you can tell me more about the water injection. I have 2 vehicles running on fryer oil, I want to do something different now.
