From 1987 to 1990, CBS televised CFA, ACC and Miami games. They didn't show games from 1991 to 1995, and then got the contract for both Big East games and SEC games, till 1999. After 1990 it just the SEC and the Army/Navy Game

Explain what says PAC-10 about this to you. Honestly, I think that the PAC 10 would use some cheesy pop theme, being that it is on the West Coast and centered on Hollywood. I know it sounds skeptical, but that's what I think.

SEC = mediocre schools with semi-professional, semi-literate players.
Pac10, well, Pac 8, well, Pac 4 (Stanford, Cal, UCLA, Washington) = ELITE ACADEMIC COLLEGES with great sports programs.
SEC, keep all of your felons and losers with you in the trailer trash states. The West Coast would appreciate it.
