Thanks for the info. I was trying to read the hedadstock on your bass but my eyes are not that sharp. I plan to buy a 2009 Fender standard p-bass (MIM). Yes, even a Squire can sound good (just cover up the brand logos and play them side by side to see which sounds better. No doubt you'll be surprised of the one you pick to buy).
Good choice!I think the standard and the american series by Fender are the best two of all, a part for the vintage instrumernts. All the others are ment to put on something new to buy in my opinion, and the two most normal series have everithing that makes a Fender a real Fender
It is a 2008 one, made in mexico. But the provenience is not important: every Fender is different from the others, a japanese can sound better than an american or a mexican, and viceversa, you need to try them everytime to find a good one, that can be even a Squier, don't watch where do they come from, it changes only the price, in fact i've been very lucky with my mexican one.
Are you playing with a Fender American made P-Bass or is it the less expensive standard P-Bass made in Mexico. Is it a new 2009 bass or an older one. Thanks.
this is the right way to play it
