@The227MARY If you're talking about the show Bill Cosby did right after "The Cosby Show", "The Cosby Show" ended in the early 90's. So therefore "Cosby" would have been on in the 90's & not the 80's.
Loved Greatest American Hero, Bosom Buddies, Hart to Hart, Chips, The Love Boat, Dukes of Hazzard, Silver Spoons, Diff'rent Strokes, Fantasy Island. Not only great openings, but wonderful shows I watched on a regular basis.
I remember 00:10, 01:02, 01:20, 02:17, and of course 02:30, 04:08, 04:41, and the famous 07:01 alf, and finaly 07:09 but you forgot Logan's Run, Starsky &Hutch, V the visitors, and many others, lol
0:19 The Greatest American Hero. This guy gets a suit that has super powers from aliens but he loses the instruction manual. It was on during the early 80's
LOL I remember them all... except the one at 0:19! What is that? Looks crazy! I'd still totally watch some of these shows. In fact, some of them I own on DVD ;)
@Smalltowngal29 The Greatest American Hero. A school teacher is given a superhero suit by aliens from outer space. When he wears it. he has all sorts of superpowers. He can fly, become invisible, become bulletproof, run at super speed, have powerful physical strength, etc. But he loses the instruction manual to the suit so he has a hard time using his powers. Yes, its out on DVD. :-)

Meh. The widescreen stretching and short clip style reeks of the '00s. But a good idea.

@demoskunk Started in the 70s, but they had plenty of years in the 80s. Especially Love Boat and Dukes.
