In the US there is gridiron football, soccer(football), baseball, basketball, lacrosse, rugby, wrestling, swimming and many others.

rugby simply isnt big at all here. None of the USA side rugby players have played rugby their whole life, you guys have. maybe in a few decades the US will climb the ladder but certainly not now
