I know they didn't like being called grunge. They weren't grunge after Bleach. Like I said their music was still angry in their other albums but it was more of a punk angry. Grunge is a mix of Metal,punk and alt. After bleach they dropped the metal sound.

You do realize that is basically what Grunge. Bleach was the true defintion. It was a loud metal anger mixed with Alt. Melodies and Punk power chords. That is why I only consider the first album by nirvana grunge...The rest is just heavy alt.
