As much as I hate to compare her to Lady gaga like everyone is its very true that as a performer you can be a good song writer (my opinion) and have an AMAZING voice but you have to create an image if you want to be noticed. Same goes for newer artist today. You seriously think all of them have 100% control over their career? Of course Lana has people telling her what to do, but she is releasing the same music as she was back as Lizzy Grant but just under a new persona. And from my understanding she writes all her music.

She maybe lacks the credibility of some artists but 1st time I heard the first few lines of video games I was captivated by the voice, maybe it's been 'enhanced' but then again maybe it's natural. recent concert footage on youtube suggests she's getting more confident and sounds better live.
They don't call it pop for nothing. The question is: do you like the product.. or not? Try not to worry how it got there. I like this girls style - whoever created it for her. This singer has bags of style all her own anyway. Just watch closely. Oh, and check out her interviews.

Then when they 'disappoint' us(aka no longer fit our mold), we say things that kill whatever little light they had left inside of them. I miss old Lizzie, but she's still in there & I love her. :)

Are her eyes blue in these photos? In all the videos and live performances I've seen of her they seem to be brown. I didn't start by complementing her singing chops because that's a given! And I've raved about them in comments else where.
@Cyrus2182 i think her eyes are hazel, i.e. light brown w some green, flashbulb can lighten them to where they can almost look blue. my eyes are brown, but can look green in v bright light.
