@ESP925LTD in professional hockey, players will occasionally throw down their gloves and go at it if there's been enough tension between the two and they've just had enough. It's legal, however after they get their punches in and give the crowd enough of a show, they both are penalized. But that's PROFESSIONAL hockey. The refs are definitely not supposed to let kids actually fight in high school hockey, which i believe this is.
