I done everything you said and fitted in the battery but the iphone 3g screen does not turn on. The phone however is on as the vibrate buttion works. All i can see is a black screen i.e no part off the screen is working. Could anyone help me and address the issue i seem to be having and what steps i should take to correct it thanks

you can look on ebay and get a battery with already soldered connector for about 12 bucks

I see in the video that you used the old connector with a new tab connected? I broke my old tab but I the package provided gave me a new one, but this is much too big. How do I get it to fit??
