I can imagine the suffering he had to go through if its true his parents treated him very bad. The impact it must have on a young boy must be enormous. The punnishment he got is way way over the top. The man himself admitted that he did it out of weakness, because he was afraid to confront them. If he had told an adult at school, he could have been removed from the house and saved himself. But anyways the overcrowding in prisons is more due to drug users. Which is hilarious because people who do drugs (or at least addicted) should be rehabilitated and not treated like killers and rapists. So i say legalize weed and set up separate institutions to help those addicted to whatever drug(s). There should be plenty room left for in the prisons for scum(put them to work and they will pay for themselves)

When I was a child, even as far back as I can remember, I would KNOW the results of my actions. Even if I were 4 years old I would know that murder is downright wrong and therefore I should never do it. No child should be excused due to age. If anything mistakes do happen such as stories of toddlers who find a hand gun in their parents home and pull the trigger because they don't know any better, but that's different.
