I think it is or was too much too soon especially in America. Women gained a lot of power after their roll in the war factories , and the liberation in the sixties. It would seem that many serial killers have damaged or oddly wired prefrontal cortexs'. The part of the brain that among other things, controls empathy. Some have suffered brain damage, and tumors. Society plays a role as does the family unit, but the genetics and make up of the brain also play a role. In some ways a serial killer is a perfect storm of issues that drive them to where they are at mentally.

Just because we all must die doesn't mean that it's ok for us to go around killing each other. As to your point of whether or not Bundy was murdered when put to death, I could understand your argument if you think it was. If you were to say that, then I would say to you that murder is sometimes necessary to protect society.
