  • really informative and interesting

  • Yes it reminds me of the Pokemon Latios and Latias movie (idk what its called) but yeah I'm going to go there when I'm 18, thanks pokemon ;D

  • cant help but this keeps reminding me of my hometown in china

  • i dream of going to Italy, for a long time, though i know few cities there. Venice was probaly the first city i knew, i nevr could remeber to look up Venice. I played Assassin's Creed 2 and got a glimpse of what Venice (among other cities) might still look like. At the very least i would love to learn to speak Italian. Ah, il giorno che visito Italia, è il giorno che una parte della mia vita diventa assoluta.

  • nice video, much better than the usual stuff. It gives an albeit faint idea of everyday life in Venezia. Ciao from a Venetian!

  • Say whatever you want, but Assassin's Creed is great publicity to the beauty of Italy.

  • Lovely, thank you for sharing. I was in Venice September/October 2005 for only a few hours but it left a huge imprint in my heart and soul. I would love to return some day. I thoroughly enjoyed the early morning aspect of the video, Venice awakening. It felt so peaceful and very retro back to the days of my childhood in Wales when we had small shops and fruit and vegetable shops run by mom and pop. I enjoyed this immensely ~ thank you!

  • I miss the smell of this city.

  • thumbs up if pokemon heroes broough you hear and i don care if i still watch pokemon that movie was awsome

  • ooooooooh i love venice wanna go there <3

  • *Sigh* if only the country that i come from was as beautiful and rich in knowledge, history, and art like this.

  • How supperised!

  • Wow I have a video named "Venice, Italy" which is 17:13 minutes long! OMG how random!!!!!!!

  • I went to Venice last year, and I have got to tell you that this is the most amazing, most exotic, interesting and unusual city I have visited anywhere in the world. I can see why it's so famous.

  • This is such a lovely video and I'm so grateful to see it! Thank you so much. It makes me feel like I am there. I appreciate all of your efforts to share it. May God bless you for being so giving.

  • Most of the streets are narrow and crowded buildings.

  • The Theif Lord was my favorite book as a kid. That sparked my interest in this awesome city.

  • Beautiful city. I have always wanted to go there to see the waterways. ^_^

  • haha stupid americans came here from a video game.... smh

thumbs up if you came here cuz venice is awsome!

  • @mrtundra45 What about those of us who bought that game because it's set partially in Venice?

  • @PandoraKyss Ok.

  • @mrtundra45

haha stupid tourists came here to enjoy the pleasures of Venice.

    Your logic is flawed.

  • @mrcrysis456 im talking about the VIDEO not venice the actual city in italy....im aware Venice gets LOTS of tourists.

  • @mrtundra45

Nevertheless, everyone has a reason for loving Venice ;)

  • @mrtundra45 yeah i think the same lol

  • @mrtundra45 Look at the bright side, more people might or would come to visit Venice due to Ubisoft, right? But then, as for the "American gamers" you referred to, wouldn't it be funny if they'd try to climb the buildings when they land in Venice?

"Ouuuuu! Venice roof top! *falls* AAAAAAAAAAAAAHH!!" XD

  • @mrtundra45

Thumbs up because you Fucking want to no matter the cost! Yeah Las vegas!

  • @mrtundra45 Whats wrong with a video game introducing people to awesome cities?

  • @NovaJake360 nothing i guess... depends on how you look at it.

  • @mrtundra45= I came here because my my grandfather describe his stay there. And, because I love Italian engineering. I hope to go there one day.

  • @mrtundra45 WAWAWA IM AN ANGRY ITALIAN ON AN AMERICAN WEBSITE WA WA WA

  • Mamma Mia!

  • well done video - much more efficient than going

  • please, upload in HD..

  • i cant even compare it with romania... this place is increddible...

  • too bad the canal water smells like hell especially on a nice sunny morning also the far famed gondolas are no longer made of traditional walnut by traditional craftsmen but are now made in china factories of thin plywood

  • @atfatw gondolas are very expensive to make and are made at Squero di San Trovaso in Venice!

  • @valcolvera

glad to hear that traditionallly built gondolas are still being made. venice has way too many motorboats and plywood gondolas!

  • @atfatw there are people out there willing to cut your dick off stick it in your old lady's ass and sew it shut.

  • es muy hermoso italia, especial venice..

  • i smell assasins creed 2

  • venice noboby sweet like you

  • We loved this beautiful city! It was our 1st visit there and we could only squeeze in two days but we'll be back...

  • This really nice, a really good concept. I was there in 2008--or did I imagine it?

  • Thank you very much for the video. I loved it!

  • if u liked how it looks like, read the history of La Repubblica di Venezia... :)

  • i've been here once...

    in assassin's creed lol

  • ive been there!!!

    on my xbox :L

  • I also loathe being a tourist, but where would Venice be without horrible us?!

EVERYONE MUST go there at least once in their life. The quality of that magic is absolutely inexplicable to people who haven't been lucky enough to go. My father went there from 1957 until he died 4 years ago - so what could I do? Nothing will ever stop me returning so thank you so much for a wonderful video - and with all the marvellous 'music' of Venice.

  • very good Video!

  • a 1:27 Dorigo libero.. no MK Ultra a 1:47 Morire di fame o avvelenati?

  • a 1:27 Dorigo libero.. no MK Ultra

  • ASSASINO !!!! 1476-1499 woot woot

  • I love Italy so much.

cant forget how it was incredibly wonderful when i went on vacation to italy about 2 years ago..

nice people, good food, pretty town, history and good life:D

im so moving to Italy from japan:D

  • I will be goign to venice in feb. I was wondering how is there English there? I have been to Rome 2 years ago and some people new english. I now its another country and they shouldn't have to know English, but curiouse on ordering food etc. also is there like flower people on the streets etc. In Rome they jwould come up to you and give you a flower, u think there being nice, but then you end up paying $10 euros for flowers you dont want to get rid of them, this time I know exactly what to do..

  • @SPANKY5ful well no, there aren't any "flower people" but there are many Afro-Americans who sell bags and you mustn't buy any of those bags because the local police will arrest you and the fine is like 150 euros....I was there last week and yes, people actually speak english but sometimes I couldn't quite get what they were saying....it's a very beautiful city and u'r very lucky to be going there...

  • @xoxopbmileyhsmxoxo Afro-Americans in Italy? Are they selling bags while on holiday?

  • Very good !

  • This is a lovely video of what a Venetian sees WITHOUT us horrible tourists - of which I am one. At least this video wasn't at all 'picture-postcardy' as would be the case if it was for the tourists.

I agree with VeniceArtist @bapestajnv. And it's absolute heaven not having to worry about road traffic and the only traffic to hear is water-traffic.

Thanks VeniceArtists for a wonderful and different video.

  • muy buen video.. un video escencial de la ciudad.

  • 2:08-2:11

  • the thing that makes the place great is theat no one uses cars.

  • I was born on Aug 3

  • I love Venice!!! It's so amazing there.

  • Love this video. Real life documentary. I feel like i really travelled there. Its Beautiful

  • You've captured the sights and sounds of Venice so perfectly in this video. . Thank you. We visited in 2007 and hope to return someday.

  • it would be great to live in venice..no cars or other annoying noises..just calming sounds of air and water lol

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx and assassinations lots of assassinations and parkour

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx and chinese tourists-_-

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx when im older i want to move there

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx And turds in the canal because they have no sewer system. After I found out that they pump untreated sewage water directly into the canals Venice lost all it's glamor in my eyes.

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx yeah but it would be impossible to hold it when you gotta go pee XD

  • @xXMusicIsEndlessXx Yes, but i dunno where I should get that huge ammount of money to buy some apartment here :D:D

  • very good film, Eric

  • it is fascinating that whoever made that film managed to capture this city without the crowds of delirious tourists, very peaceful, just people doing their daily doings...

  • ASSASSINO

  • 3:49 italians use boat , britains use cars XD

  • I went it was really good but i saw a rat running round the streets , and it was bit smelly but still good :)

  • I was on the same time there. may 2006

    Great City

Why think so many people that the water are stinking?

That smell a little bit diffrent. But not so bad

  • Oh Venice is AWESOME!!!! I was there in October 2009 and I really enjoyed it!

The city is beautiful and I ate the best pizza in my life there!!!!

  • Venice was Europe's leading chief mercantile rentier Financier Oligarchy, and carrier of the Usury and paganism of ancient imperial of Babylon and Phoenicia.

  • The Black Nobility are quite simply the filthy Oligarchic banking families of Venice.

  • architecture layout and the way the city traverses itself, with canals and water,

its one of the world's wonders, imho

    not to mention

    the people,

and of course, the women :P

    ~peace

    thomas :)

  • huh? i tought i saw Ezio Auditore.

  • Nice AV, but oh how sad that Venice has lost it's gilding. So much Graffiti now, and a McDollands. A real shame! :o(

  • There's today many empty houses without people. Time glory of Venice was between 14-18 centuries. Actually all Europe is too charged by middleage cities, without modern streets for cars, also very expansives for restaurations, a really black-hole for money. For example, americans demolise & replace almost every "old" building, just over few decades

  • Very impressive shots. Many thanks for sharing!

  • i hab been there in assassin's creed 2, also i whent with my parents last year

  • been here is GunZ?

  • venice rules :)

  • I've been here.....in assassin's creed 2

  • Venezia e una bella citta! Please go to my channel and watch the film I made in Venice with a Venetian tour guide!

  • WOW BEAUTIFUL ! I would just love to merry a girl in the harbor at night that would be so romantic

  • yea in assassins creed 2 omg in 1486 damn that time it was extremely gorgous!!!

  • Venezia, is a very immaculate city and it would be very interesting to walk the streets of history but to those who have visited, have you ever thought about people diving into one of the many canals and just going for a swim?

  • I was there in 2008 and it was BEAUTIFUL ...... no smell from the water and every scene was a postcard . I would love to go back !

  • How do the channels smell like? is there a foul smell in the summer?

  • @legija83 no, it's just a mild smell of still water enough to augment Venice's charm

  • @legija83 I wasn't bothered by it when I went (may-june). Couldn't smell a thing. I guess it depends.

  • @bapestajnv I had a great time there. I actually dislike being a tourist. However tourism provides cash for hotel workers, transportation workers, art business people, restaurants, Being inside another city is to me always en exercise in the discovery of how people use space, architecture. It's all a big zoo to a lay zoologist. The AC posts are just funny to me. The grafitti had to be made by locals, and street artists. Beautiful/funky mazes to beautiful plazas and amazing art.

  • its make me want to venice

  • Muito Bacana ! Parabenz!

  • I,d Love this city

  • i could remember climbing these places in assassin's creed 2 Lol

  • @bapestajnv lol!! same

  • lol seriously it looks exactly the same

  • @bapestajnv same lol its real after all the first time saw it i thought it was just a fake place but it was real lol and firenze too

  • @bapestajnv lol

  • @bapestajnv haha! me too! But I've actually been to Venice before ACII came out. They did a good job didn't they?

  • @bapestajnv hahaha!! The game pwns!

  • @bapestajnv lol me too

  • Lovely video thanks, This is how I like to remember Venice and thanks especially for not adding music!

  • I have heard that under the wrong conditions it can be very smelly, and that efforts to encourage the circulation of the water have had mixed results. Even riding in the vaporetti can be an exercise in exhaust and crowding. When St Marco place is packed with thousands and the lines for the tourist attractions are long, why would anyone want to be there? I suggest reading the Lonely Planet Guides before heading anywhere.

  • @Tennessee44444 So fuck off and keep ur comments to urself becuzz no one wants to hear ur pathetic comments u fukin american.

  • i wish i could live here in 1476.

  • @Gamethroughs

    me 2

  • @Gamethroughs ugh i was ganna say that asshgole D: no jkjk

  • Been there

    Done that

  • This City was unfortunately the archetype for Bear Stearns, Goldman Sachs, Chase Manhattan Bank, Lehmen Bros, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, AIG, CitiBank.

  • The Financial Vultures of Venice anticipate the financial policies of Bank of America, Chase Manhattan, and the Bank for International Settlements before metastasizing into Geneva, Amsterdam, and London.

  • @AnonymousWhitePerson Wow, well hell yes, anticipation is speculations main game. But calling the plundering financier a vulture does a dishonor to vultures who only eat the dead. Financiers eat the living.

  • This Evil Usurious City is an Anathema.

  • @AnonymousWhitePerson

I was proposed to on my visit to venice, kept in touch with my friend but distance came between us. Such a beautiful place, but since then i have learnt about their Black Nobility and its financial control over the world economy.

  • @shikinah2007,

The Evil Venetian Black Nobility (aristocrazia nera) is a historical banking ally of the Queen of the United Kingdom and the City of London banks. They are her relatives.

  • @AnonymousWhitePerson so tell me, being a catholic country which one has authority, the club of Rome, which includes the jesuites, or the illuminate which reside in the USA? or are they all of the same bloodline/family?

  • omg so beautiful place! i'm going there next year in InterRail !!! ;D
