I guess I have weak hip muscles, because every time I run and/or walk long distances, my hips hurt. I'm trying to become a runner, and the hip problem is really getting in the way! My sister mentioned that it looks like I lead with my hips when I walk. I don't know about that. Any suggestions?

@MissMadii19 when you perform your squats or leg presses, pull your toes up towards you at the fully extended portion of the movement so you are balanced on your heel! This will strengthen the muscle in front of the shin, which when weak will hurt after a run :) good luck!
why do all these trainers seem to workout at the beach? Can you do a video workout in the city or different element? A lot of us dont have access to a muli-story staircase, beach sand for resistance, etc... This looks like an excellent workout though.

We do something similar to this in crew, except we have to walk quickly down, and do the stairs in sets of 3 to 5 (depending on the days intensity) and then do the circuit afterwards. Probably one of the hardest, but most fun work outs :) I was just wondering though, is there any benefit to doing the circuit in between?
well i planned on doing this workout and then i ended up running up all the sets of stairs around the entire stadium...which is a huge university football stadium...killer!

Ok so i have an incline sit up machine in the gym where i go every day! and i can do them with weights in my hands. so how come i can't do 1 situp on the ground to save my life?
@kiwi81thatsme it's likely that with your feet hooked into the incline machine (or decline, however you look at it) means that instead of your abs firing 100%, your Hip Flexors are doing a lot of the work :\ when you run, do the front of your hips feel tight? try doing your ab work without hooking your feet into anything :) let us know if it helps xo

Ok so i have an incline sit up machine in the gym where i go every day! and i can do them with weights in my hands. so how come i can't do 1 situp on the ground to save my life?

@kiwi81thatsme it's likely that with your feet hooked into the incline machine (or decline, however you look at it) means that instead of your abs firing 100%, your Hip Flexors are doing a lot of the work :\ when you run, do the front of your hips feel tight? try doing your ab work without hooking your feet into anything :) let us know if it helps xo
