I am from Austria. We're total dumb and surely can't compete with Great Britain. Oh wait, we're known for excellent cuisine, eating habits and wine. England as well as the United States are known for overweight and bad nutrition habits, at least thats a common stereotype in continental Europe. We have world's best ski racers indeed. An Austrian Formula 1 racing team just has won the champions ship today. W. A Mozart and S. Freud weren't born in England as far as wikipedia claims.

Austria has some awesome littérateurs, too and plenty of marvellous theatres which are known everywhere on the globe. And yes, Austria as well have had a long monarchistic history till WW I. However, compared to England Austrian citizens do not pay £41.5M taxes a year to finance a royal family.

Oh and our health care system is free of charge as well. Austria has some of the finest hospitals and medical specialists in the world, not only Britain. Period.
