  • moster jam, YEAH!!!!

  • The singers voice reminds me of Nate Dogg RIP

  • great funk beat

  • i like this jam

  • This is the beginning of the rapid decline in soul music. It has now crashed into hip hop and rap.

  • SiCk R0lA.!!

  • These vocals are psychotic

  • @sbranson01 how

  • N.C. Represent!

  • one of my all time favorite songs

it was deleted somehow from my favorites and I just can't live in a world where I can't hear this track at any time.

thank you for posting, good quality on the audio although a couple of times the compression clamps a little hard.

  • i have this song to

  • hit the switches to this!

  • does anyone know how this subgenre is called?

  • @GadgetVision This is Carolina Funk. North Carolina Sound.

  • Slammin'!

  • lol@80's music not being funk, get the hell out her with that noise, atomic dog, and more bounce some of the funkiest jams ever.

  • WHO SINGS THIS JAM??CAN ANYONE HELP

  • It's a guy called D. Wright.

  • The singer or Group is " Wizard"

  • whatever the 70's point of view guy said. Sorry man this is funk.

  • pre-era g-funk

  • From a 70s point of view, I can understand. But black-owned radio stations did refer to this music as funk, as well as artists who composed and played this kind of music. I do hear elements of what would constitute funk in many early 80s funk, but it slowly disappeared after about 1983. I think the use of the blue note is what really makes the difference. I can hear this in many of General Caine's music, especially Girls. Girls and Cutie Pie are some of the best examples of early 80s funk.

  • wtf are u on zeek, its on pumps an early 80's funk vibe, stop toolin,

    u just got told by a g

  • What the heck are you talking about??? Can you carry on a halfway descent conversation? I guess not because you're an idiot.

  • You don't even know me and you're telling me what to do??? Square ass??? You really are an idiot. Go f*@c& yourself in your round ass (if you even have one) and get a fag to help you with it.

  • sick tune mguadan thanks

  • the mixing always confuses me

  • Whoever this dude is has been fuccin me up for hours, all I can do is rub my beard and shake my head...the funk not only moves it can remove! Hooooooooo!!!!!

  • iam morocan i have this single very good men !!!!!

  • your funk is like my funk..chek it out homie!

    u got good shyt!

  • Really love that:)

  • I think this kind of music in the very early 80s wasn't created for pop locking. People danced to this in clubs like they would to any song. These kinds of songs were more like fillers for radio stations to avoid the monotony of the more popular songs. They'd play songs like these a few times and you'd never hear them again. I never heard this song but I'm sure there were plenty of them for listening pleasure as well as dancing.

  • When people call anything made in the 80's funk it makes me cringe

80s boogie is to Deep Funk as Smooth Jazz is to Hard bop.

This is not real funk to me at all.

  • faggg

  • Is that what you are? You don't make sense. Go to another site where they talk about fags...or as faggs.

  • fagg

  • piece of shit you are

  • SecOfunk, so Atomic Dog isn't funk? More Bounce 2 The Ounce isn't funk? Sorry, that's ridiculous. It's fine if you don't like 80s funk but you're a little out of pocket saying it's not real and comparing it to smooth jazz. Terms like "boogie" were applied later by dilitantes. I call it what they musicians and fans called it at the time...THE FUNK!

  • are you nutz? this is just as funky as anythin made in the 70's...and it's actually BETTER because of the keyboards.

  • @djJackMF Yawn!!!!!! Whatever man...if you like 80's boogie, its all good...do your thing. Jump back a decade, do your homework, then join the club. All of those bands you listed are dope as hell ....but I can't call them true funk artist.
