There is simply nowhere on earth that looks like northern Jersey. I was trying to explain this to some friends in Australia after seeing Being John Malkovich. I guess you have to have been there.
EWR Newark, NJ... actually all the shots were taken on my drive home from Newark airport, through North New Jersey. I work for an airline, and the employee lot is directly under Runway 4, so the planes fly right over head at 500 feet. Pretty sweet, huh.
The club they use in The Sopranos for Bada Bing's is called Satin Dolls, which is only a few miles down the road on RT 17 South in Lodi. The one in my video is Stilleto's on 120 North in Carlstadt, NJ, which I drive past everyday :-)
Yeah man, there was no extremely overweight guy with parent issues. Anyways this rules mate. The Sopranos is one of the greatest shows to grace television in a long time. I will be sad when it is over but I will cherish it while it lasts.
